Thank you! So first thing: you've got 2 videos, it's normal to be hearing crickets at this stage! However I'd look into improving my titles. The title of the video about rules you've ditched for example could be a lot more specific. Like what sort of rules? Life in general? Workplace rules? Relationship rules? There's no way for me to know if I'm gonna be interested or if the video is gonna be applicable to me. Same thing with your other video about retiring successfully. What does successfully mean? With more money? Earlier? With better health? People need to know what value they're gonna get from the video before they consider clicking 🥰
I love your videos and you have helped me so much as a very small content creator. I have a full time job and want to get the message out helping dogs. I learned something today. Perhaps my niche needs to be more specific. Currently helping dogs with injuries is not specific enough. but what struck me, and as I learned today, people want to know how to save money with their dogs and vet bills. So now thinking I need to change up what I am sharing to fine tune my niche. Saving on vet bills with these tips. ? Thoughts? Going to do some deep diving on YT ❤
I think you can talk about both topics! They're both within the niche of 'dog health'. I'd do some research into the topics people are searching for on google and make videos about those. And yep, anything that saves or makes people money will do well!

Just started my channel a month ago, for now i’m really just catering about advice people in their 20s as well as why they should start posting on CZcams (aka what i’m going through). However i’m still not sure about the direction of what i really what my channel to be about since i have many ideas and feel like i’m not that equipped to give “professional ” advice. Any ideas a about how i should structure my content and “niche” would be appreciated:)))

Hey! So I have a whole video on what you need to consider before choosing a niche which I think will be helpful but looking at your channel I think you're doing pretty well! The most important thing with a niche when you're starting is that's it's clear to the viewer and small enough for you to be able to get your first few views. Idk what your other ideas are but advice in your 20s and content creation are good shots. You don't need to be a professional to give life advice (it's not like medical advice where you'd expect the person to have some credentials!). You can just share the things you're going through and what's working for you. Something I'd consider, though, is that life advice/personal dev is not a super lucrative niche in terms of cpms, so if you're hoping to make a living from Adsense you're gonna need many views!

Gracias! Te respondo en español que voy más rápida :) Lo que más salta a la vista de tu canal es que estás haciendo esto de CZcams en modo difícil. Tienes videos muy buenos pero de temas demasiado diversos. Entiendo que el objetivo final seguramente es ser un canal educativo general pero para llegar ahí es más fácil empezar con un tema concreto e ir expandiendo a medida que creces. Es muy difícil hacer crecer de cero un canal tan general.
El otro problema es que a tus vídeos les falta contexto para que la gente esté dispuesta a escuchar. Te pongo un par de ejemplos. Tienes un video sobre cómo memorizar rápido. Ese vídeo sin un contexto detrás es muy difícil que destaque. En mi otro canal tengo un vídeo parecido pero cuando lo saqué ya llevaba tiempo haciendo contenido sobre ser estudiante de medicina. Con ese contexto detrás y sabiendo que es una de las carreras con la nota de acceso más alta, cualquiera que quiera aprender a memorizar "asume" que la persona que está haciendo el vídeo sabe de lo que habla.
Lo mismo pasa con un vídeo sobre habilidades para hacerse rico. Si ese vídeo lo hace alguien a quién llevas tiempo siguiendo y sabes que realmente se han hecho rico, es más probable que escuches. Si te lo cuenta alguien a modo teórico sin tú tener ese contexto sobre esa persona detrás, es difícil que quieras tener sus consejos en cuenta.
Conclusión: yo reduciría mi nicho al área en la que puedo demostrar resultados que a la gente le importen y expandiría desde ahí.

in my channel, i have millions of views and over 380k subs and around $100 monthly in ad revenue
in English the thing is much better more $$
Yeah my other channel has over 200k subs and same. Interestingly enough, I had another collab offer for this channel (which I'm not gonna take because it doesn't really align with my content) but they were offering more o less the same amount of money other companies have offered to sponsor a video on my other channel, where I have 200k more subs 🤣
