Backroads Biking Tour in Europe with AmaWaterways on a Danube River Cruise

- Adventure travel company Backroads offers biking cruises in collaboration with AmaWaterways. We joined the AmaSonata cruise ship for a trip along the Danube River in Germany, Austria, Slovakia and Hungary. It's an amazing way to have an active river cruise and see historic sights off the beaten path.

Thanks for sharing. What month did you go? We are taking this trip Sept 7-14/24. Any advice as to what to pack for September other than basic cycling gear
Thanks for watching. So, you'll be on the Danube as well. That's so wonderful. Backroads is awesome. I was on in late August.So, you'll probably have some similar weather I would expect. Comfy casual for on board the ship and some great athletic gear that can be layered as needed along with good walking shoes for any additional tours you might want to choose. Have a great time!
