We have to make India great again, but this can't be done without taking care of our planet. Shame that we have committed to net-zero by 2070, which literary means "forget it and leave it for the future generations" - bitter but true.
Actually no. Even developed economies have set targets for 2060. Also, it can't be left to future generations as we have ti start now if we want to reach the target till 2070.

Nuclear is not a renewable source of energy. You need radio active materials, like Uranium and Thorium to power the Nuclear power plants

We don't hesitate to say that India is no longer a poor country in fact we are on way to becoming the top economy in the world. But when it comes to fighting the Climate change we take a U-turn by saying that we're still developing country and too poor to mitigate burning fossil fuel (even if this causes us to transfer huge amounts of wealth to the Middle-East). There are better technologies and affordable ways to produce cleaner electricity (then burning petrol/diesel/coal), we just need to generate awareness.
Target is 2030.India 2070 AD.Take average to suit all .So 70+30/2=50 So all sgrees 2050 Thik hai
The world as we see it won't be like this forever, it's what you take for granted that you miss the most. Millions of people will be stricken with poverty and diseases, millions will be displaced. If ever there was a life that was worth preserving, a conscious life would be one, but our fictions that bring us together will cause our eventual extinction. Not just individual deaths, but the very prospect of being born, will be gone. If we can only get our shit together, there's a sliver of chance, however small, that this can be avoided. But I don't see any proof of that reflected in events around the globe, with leaders simply trying to shove the onus of action to another time, as if we have it. With so little science education and so much dogmatism and religiosity, there's a monument of work that needs to be done, to get people to even "see" reality as it exists, and until that time, there's very little that can be done. It's the need for bread and the greed for short-term solutions that's going to dominate the thinking, not long-term durable, wide-ranging, tough actions. I like your earrings though...
70% of India runs on coal. How does this work without doing EXACTLY what you described in your 2nd sentence? This practically ensures the poor people of Indias demise.

What exactly will this mean for the indian person to reduce emissions by 2070. Need to stop talking about india being the 3rd biggest emitter, you need to use per capitia per person emissions. Not right to compare 1billion indians to australians. Aussies emit far higher emissions per person than an your average indian
