BECAUSE they have to deny themselves, take up their cross, and follow Jesus. Joel Osteen speaks of "HAVING YOUR BEST LIFE NOW." If he's going to have his best life now that just leaves him with an un-best life in eternity. And his stance on homosexuality, "gay marriage," and other abominations leaves him as being unsaved, for it is impossible for a saved person to hold such beliefs. When the heart is TRULY regenerate it Will accept NOTHING less than the *STRAIGHT* truth. And he wouldn't teach, LIKE OPRAH, that there are many paths to God other than thru Christ. I remember hearing his dad, but can't remember if that's the type of doctrine he left joel with. But joel obscene olsteen is now A heretic along with kenneth conniving copeland and jessie duplicitous duplantis.
What an amazing memorial service to honour this anointed warrrior for Christ. A man with integrity who "walked the talk." Apart from his huge evangelistic outreach he has proved as a model of a Christian family man. Jut look at the legacy he left with all his children. Dodie Osteen was the perfect wife for him, she is so down to earth, loving, has a great heart and passion for the ministry and has a great sense of humour. She certainly honoured him at his memorial. John is in eternal joy and bliss now with his beloved Lord. Blessings to all the wonderful Osteen family.

Years ago I used to listen to John Osteen while I worked in my bakery. That was in New Zealand and his life and ministry had a powerful impact on my life. I have heard him talk about his father many times and got to thinking i should check him out on youtube . I now see who this man was and how much he is loved . I found his memorial service and watched all 5 episodes , it moved me . Thanks for the history , the tears, and i vow to visit Lakewood if i ever get to Texas .

I was going through the worst time of my life around 2013 and i tuned into youtube and started listening to Ps john. Without a doubt his Holy Spirit inspired words saved my life. 2Kings13:20-21 A truly blessed man of God. I get a lot of strength from the testimonies he tells of his family and their miracles of healing. thank you keith for posting his sermons.

March 2024 I am watching this and wondering- where was I? Indeed a Pastor of Pastors, I felt him. His wife - what an incredible, strong and exceptionally wise help meet. I watched all 4 parts of this memorial service, what a strong woman of God. You could almost feel Pastor John was in this service physically. And his family - that is the blessing of a good man, each one flourishing, rooted and grounded. Now I understand why Pastor Joel has been so blessed, this was the Godly foundation, this was the divine fabric he’s cloaked himself with. And I can see this ministry grow from generation to generation. That is what is called a Godly heritage. God bless this family and this house. Watching this has blessed me so much. I attended Lakewood 1980-1990 and returned in November 2005. Thanks for uploading the memorial service. I did not go to the service because my mother followed Pastor John on January 24, 1999. I work with Sister Dodie's healing ministry and my son Jonathan Alexander runs camera for Pastor Joel. Watching the service has given me more closure, I would have been there if my mom had not passed.

So false! We are not saved by baptism but by faith. You believe someone can trust Jesus, but aren't saved until baptized. In fact water baptism wasn't required after the gospel was taken from the Jews and given to the Gentiles. Paul stopped baptizing and differentiated it from the gospel.. It was not part of the gospel. What's left is spiritual baptism where We are baptized into Christ spiritually at the point of faith.
