  • Hey guys! I'm coming back to you with part 2 of the Sweetheart Drape bodice. In this video I show you how to sew a sweetheart strapless bustier. Perfect for summer and I think I'm going to sew a sundress for myself. Let me know if you would like to see a DIY on that.

    1/2 1 Yards of non stretch fabric
    -1/2 -1 Yard of non stretch lining
    -Expose zipper
    -1 Yard of 1/4" boning
    -Fabric scissors

    You make it look so easy! I went to a fashion designer school too and I dropped out cuz the teacher was not good at teaching and was really judgmental but if I had a teacher like you i would have stayed, I love your work!

    I don't know how you do it, but you've even made using boning look easy! Amazing! Oh an just a tip for the novice like myself, I didn't want to use pattern paper, kinda like using a beautiful canvas and coloring with crayons. lol I picked up a roll of Freezer paper at the grocery store. It comes in a big roll, so I didn't feel like I was wasting money when I inevitably scraped it and started over. Also it has a lightly waxed side which I can iron onto the fabric without having to try and pin it. Then it just peels off when I'm done with it. Thanks so much for sharing this tutorial. I feel so much more confident in making a dress.

    Wow! It looks so easy to do by the way you explain it! It makes me want to learn how to sew just to make my own wedding dress! Unfortunately, I have no tools at all... :'( My mom has a sewing machine, but she is hundreds of miles away... How I wish I could do this!
