What other shampoos have anyone used for bleaching lace and for wigs in general?
You could just use a spray bottle of water to wet it up again, and not have to touch it and risk pushing the bleach thru.
So I can use the orange shampoo right? They say it has to be purple or blue or something to cancel out the color

The lower the developer the slower the belching process , I didn’t know it mattered what the skin complexion was? I honestly use 30 or 40 on every lace I bleach regardless.. but if it’s your first time bleaching go ahead and go for the 20 or 30

I got a notification saying someone was confused, so lemme clarify use like plastic or wood etc not metal to mix everything together so it does not oxidize before using the foil to cover everything ❤️

If I previously put a little makeup on the lace should I wash it off and then start the bleaching process. Or can I just wash it off when I’m taking the bleach off.
I don’t think it should be a problem 🤔 but if anything wash it and blow dry the inside of the lace to dry it then try to bleach the knots like normal
I wanted to know do I need to use the 30 or 40 developer for darker complexion skin tone? I been hearing that I need to use 30 since in darker or it doesn't matter
ppl keep saying this but anytime I bleach someone’s knots I also use the same routine. Depending on the lace I’d have to add makeup or a tint anyway so I personally don’t think it matter.. but use 30 for sure. 40 bleaches
faster and if you just starting out you might be better off letting it bleach slowly over 45 mins- 1hr

Not at all. I did soaked the frontal in hot water today. The water turned dark but the hair still looks black

I mean you can butttt depending on the hair quality it can make your wig start shedding bad, I usually just bleach once and whatever didn’t take I say oh well lol

A neutralizing shampoo makes sure the chemicals from bleach are completely out the hair

So I went to get the supplies but I noticed on the bw2 tube it said that it is to be used with Clairol developers but I got something called Super Star 40 volume developer…can I still use it to bleach the lace or??
I used a different developer with bw2 before and it bleached the knots But I only used it cause the hair store was out of the Clairol and I had to get something.. but I definitely prefer the clairol idk if it’s a mind thing cause I’m so use to it but if the hair store has it that’s what I’m getting

You can but 40 will lift faster so check on it every 15 minutes
Do I need to use aluminum foil? I don’t have any so will a plastic bag be fine?
I learned a long time ago that the foil causes it to heat up and bleach better/faster.. I’m not sure a plastic bag will do the same but sometimes when I don’t have foil I just follow the same steps
If you bleach a wig but the knots are still visible can you go back in and do it again? I let it sit for 30 minutes and it didn't work. And they said not to leave it in longer than that

I never double bleached before .. ppl say not to because it may be too harsh and cause the wig to start shedding ..I’d just leave it alone and try this technique when you get a new lace
maybe try again but use 20 and just eyeball but perhaps cut the time to 10 min with the foil and condition well if still nothing just scrap this one but don't be discouraged
I have a transparent laced wig. Please the lace, the hair did bleach but the middle part where there is no hair is white & clear. What do I do in that case?

I’d say Anywhere between 20-45 mins depending on how thick the knots are and the consistency of your bleach mixture

Yea that happens when the bleach is too watery and it seeps through the lace onto the hair… You’d probably have to dye the roots but Depending how over bleached they are you can always just touch up the roots after you style your hair with a temporary color dye spray or even mascara.. that’s what I do.

I would just let it sit without covering it before putting anything else that’s not aluminum foil
How do you know when to bleach the knots? I have an HD lace but I’m not sure if I need to bleach the knots or not. They said the wig came bleached already, help.
Most lace I’ve come across don’t come pre bleached but If they say it is maybe it is. You have to put it up against your hand and see if you see the intense black dots all over the lace as you part through it

Will this work on a synthetic lace wig from shein?
I have no clue but I doubt synthetic hair can handle the chemicals . I’m about to to a video using a shein wig in the next week but i don’t think it’s synthetic

i bleached my knots but first the knots bled a brownish color then turned bright orange. After 2 hours, the knots were still bright orange.
after two hours of having the purple shampoo on the lace? You might have bleached the roots of the hair. You can go in and dye them black or just fix it with makeup and a temporary color spray once you install. Or you can use a liquid toner for the knots like one from wella.. I don’t have a video on that though. I’ll do one when I have a lace that’s over bleached
Try using blue shampoo. On the color wheel, blue is directly across from orange so blue is better to cancel orange. Because purple is directly across from yellow, purple works beat to remove yellow from your knots.

For which part because I used like 2 different ones.. the isoplus makes sure all the bleach is out and the purple one makes my lace not look so orange..doesn’t have to be the exact brands I used but they have to do the same things

Try not to do that it’ll turn blonde .. if it fell on the hairline or somewhere deep inside the frontal I probably did not care soo so much cause I could’ve easily plucked it out or black sprayed over whatever turned blonde but Definitely avoid that
Metal speeds up the process of the bleach , use plastic to handle any bleach 🤗

Can you pluck first and then bleach the knots?
I think it’s easier the other way around and the bleach softens the knots ..makes them easier to pluck

Dont start from the front. Always start from the middle or back to front. No metal appliance also. Use a wooded stick

Bleaching knots will take your install to the next level! Just be careful to not make the mixture watery or it’ll seep through and make your roots blonde
Idc but after 45 min the knots are definitely not bleached and the whole scalp is Orange😔😔 I did everything you said in the video, hopefully the blue shampoo will turn the Orange down
