Have you tried the deep conditioner alone? Do you not like the results? ..cause wouldn't oil put a barrier between the dc and your hair strands and not allow dc to penetrate and do what it needs to do...maybe putting oil on after? Maybe you like how your hair feels with the mix...idk jst curious.
Z L I've known some people to mix oils with their DC. Lol my older cousin used to say it's like getting a hot oil treatment and deep conditioning at the same time you feel like you're getting the ultimate treatment when you mix. I've tried it both ways mixing or doing it seperately and I liked either result but in a weird way I felt like mixing made my hair feel better lol I can't explain it.
I 100% agree with LexisGotSwag. I used to just use the deep conditioner alone, but when I tried it with the oil my hair just felt better and looked shinier. But there's no wrong or right way, just do whatever works better for your hair☺
