Did you see Harimoto in this video?
4:44
No but I saw dream
5:26
Great video! I remember Jiaqi beating you in a tournament some years back. She always was an amazing player.
Can you play my favourite player, Juan Liu, next?
5:26
so yeah, i don't know how i got here but i ended up watching this whole thing
Hahahaha
Same damn thing
Ikr!?
lol me too
Haha the beautu of youtube 👌
Never in my life have I watched Table Tennis on CZcams but somehow this showed up in my recommended and I’m not even upset about it
Me neither, yesterday I watched a guy vs girl play 1v1 in basketball though so I think that’s why I got this recommended
4:45 what an incredible shot
And 7:24 as well
Insane
@@adolf221 amazing
Yeh but real pros should cover it. She hasnt practiced for long time
@@cwaddle yeah, she really doesnt play like herself in this video.
This may be one of the bravest things I’ve ever seen. And challenging such a good player is also brave, but not nearly as brave as wearing those pants in public.
pfffft
What pants
and socks.
@@lloyddraysey5033 basically everything what hes wearing
“They had us in the first half, not gonna lie”
Jiaqi is such a good person !!!!
Shourya Mathur and Adam too
@@Gutipro33 we all know that already!!
Shourya Mathur you’re such a good person too
Adam's Defense is super impressive -

Mine is super super super super super super impressive then
Haha i bet its still better than the other people’s who commented : )
I have not a single clue as to how your videos are showing up in my recommended feed.... but I thank the CZcams algorithms because I’ve binge watched so many of your video today, subscribed, and am loving your content. Keep up they great work!!!!!
Dude your ability to nail the table gracefully or powerfully from what seems like any distance or location is seriously impressive
I learned the same in school
its absolutely insane how both of you get so much spin on the ball. It just bites the table like crazy.
If these videos have taught me anything it's that you must stomp your foot on every serve. ;) haha
There's a purpose why they do that.
@@ginostrings that's right
Heyyyy whatcha doin here
i hate to be that dude who press like on 69 likes but i cant help it
Also, you have to hit the ball
I thought you were going to go and not take this seriously and then I watched the video and you got them skills, mad impressed and pleasantly surprised.
Can't believe how much I enjoyed this, his 7th point was awesome.
4:37 BEAUTIFUL!
Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaow
Yeah that was the most insane shot i've seen in a while. I don't think there's a lot of people that can catch that.
@@onemorestep1104 Xu Xin also did something like that once, too.
She's awesome, such a great player, coach and more importantly - really awesome person with a huge personality! I wish the Taiwanese team all the success in Tokyo :)
Haha, Awesome in USA, but in China she is not qualified in provincial team. It recalls me that one normal chinese student won No. 1 in math competition after he went to Arkansas,USA
@@hanjuan7901 yes hahaha the standard is just much lower. Similarly the best basketball player in a university in China wouldn't be able to play in any summer league in the US
@@lepoldbuttersstotch Haha, I think USA has more than 5000 basketball players who can play better even than our national team members.
7:29 That was a crazy good shot.
they play incredible, their talent is impressive, thanks for the quality of the content of your videos and the subtitles in spanish!♡
She finally realized how good Adam is.. Good job, Adam!!
She was just playing with him. This is not even semi pro level play.
She wasn’t even trying, neither of them really.
Considering she has not played for 4 years, she did amazingly well.
nah, just a friendship gameplay, they not try to chieve anything,no hard feeling needed, just enjoy the game mate
Love this match! Thank you to bring some sunlight to our pandemic reality.
I never played Table tennis in such a big hall...actually caught myself thinking, 'Just drop a short slow one when he's a mile away...' one thing I learned in my youth. Defense wins more games than offense. Epic game, man!
i had no idea that people could put such amazing spins on omg impressed
Hey, Adam, can I recommend you a place where you can go and play some TT? You can go to Salina Slanic salt mine in Romania, where you will find tennis tables like 200 meters below the surface! Sounds like fun, right?😁 Please go there and make a video, it will be fantastic!
And you'll meet really good players !
Hostel 4 ?
here is a video if you are interested to go to the salt mine and play some table tennis 200 meters underground you can see people playing at around 1 minute into the video czcams.com/video/7p7U4NwgwXc/video.html
Awesome game! I think she is a great coach for Cheng 🤙 Looking forward to your next video
That was so entertaining! I loved your command of the lop and Jiaqi's backhand. Table tennis players are so good sports!
Enjoyed the match and gain some appreciation for the skill and finesse that goes into playing this game.
Been watching you since the beginning, love your content :)
4:39 - THE AB SPECIAL 🔥
That was great fun to watch. Amazing reactions from both players.
A bit late to the game here, but this was a hugely entertaining piece. Elite level athletic play, tremendous sportsman(woman)ship and humorous to boot. Well done and thanks for showcasing Zheng's sports career - deserved a show.
Sports(wo)manship might be easier?
This guy can hit the table from outside the building .
Great match. No idea who was gonna win. While Jiaqi was clearly disadvantaged by not using her normal bat, I don't understand how someone whose life is all about table tennis, someone whose life was about competitive table tennis in the past, wouldnt have have played match play, even if just casual like this, in what 4 years. That said, over the last 18 months or so Adam has really improved and is formidable in his own right. Jiaqi was right to opt for the 0-0 start.
Yes agreed, top coaches I know always like to keep playing matches at their own level.
Loving the vlogs Adam! Keep it up!
Both these women have such amazing personalities.
But so weak
@@car4944 What a silly comment.
The fact that Adam is hitting the ball 6 feet away from the table and it landing on it is amazing...kudos!
20 feet
>6 meters
Why is she lobbing the ball to him? Can't she hit softly so the ball doesn't go that far? I'm not an expert 🙏
@@AntonAdelson Ye her forcing him back so easly, placing a stopball on the first or second return would give her a lot of easy points, His footwork isnt nothing to brag about and him ending up so far away from the table is not a good sign at all. It might make the game look fun and impressive to the layman but are obvious signs of staging the game and putting on a show OR bad footwork, bad awareness and a lacking in his offensive play.
I know the game was never meant to be some Olympics finale level game. At least they had fun :)
@@AntonAdelson she could, but this is a friendly match so idk, she seems too nice to do that. He also said at the end they called her short notice and she felt unwell but agreed anyway so maybe thats also a factor.
Adam was so great! I enjoyed Adam’s game and technique so much!!
It took me a moment to wrap my head around played in reverse rally with I-Ching
I just couldn't work out mentally how the "serve" was done, in the end I had to play the video in reverse to see what was going on lol
Tenet
You could tell after she lost that she was UPSET. But Adam, you had FIVE MATCH POINTS ON HER. Close man, CLOSE! Great video. You're gonna need to start 7-0 in the rematch cause I think she's coming back with a vengeance!
He threw a few points there to let her get closer and save face.
Adam, love the respect you show your opponents (friends). We need to see this!
Adam, Ping Pong Ambassador title is most fitting for you. Keep it up! Regards to Jiaqi.
7:56 she played very well for being a penholder playing with a shakehand blade.
Most professionals will play 2-3 levels below their normal skill with the opposite grip, with some notable exceptions (like Liu Guoliang).
Very good series. People love these series. Please play against Ma Long, Fan Zhending etc.
never thought id find myself watching table tennis videos this much. Adam you're an elite content creator
5:52 the "what happened" always get me lol. best meme of this channel

4:45 That might be one of the sickest shots I've ever seen
Yep that's a unplayable shot 💯
@@mhqa_ its legal
@@mango9937 ?? What's legal?
@@mhqa_ mb i thought u meant the shot would be disallowed

it's one of the best performances i've seen from you Adam, well played against such a strong player, hats off
That was one of the neatest things I've seen... :) I'm so glad I stumbled upon this.. Awesome!
5:51 I’m back once again!
hehe, thats great what happen guy, also looking forward to see you in every video ;) When will you play against Adam again? ;)
Аватарка 😂👍
the man. the legend.
I really like this emotion.Very funny
For real?
Let's all thank the CZcams algorithm gods for bringing us here. Amen.
Why? because it showed a half assed man get beaten by a pro woman?
Because let's be honest, NOBODY searched for "half assed man gets beaten by a pro woman" in ping pong lol
@@luigonzalo6571 did u not watch it?
Idk how but yes it did and it’s awesome
Lui Gonzalo He won and she is not a pro now, retired manny years
That shot at 4:40 was just incredible!! Wow!! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Incredible skill. Mind-boggling! Loved your creative use of spin too!
Actually a pretty standard table tennis exhibition, mostly featuring lobbing and a little fishing.
Amazing buddy... Keep inspiring
Me: I am one of those very few people who play good table tennis
Adam: Hold my AEROPLANE
😂😅
As a Table tennis player, this really was good to watch :D great Video !
It's hilarious when Jiaqi gave an eyeroll each time Adam suggested something silly haha I hope you play her again soon, I wanna see her strong penhold style.
Professional ping pong player is a title that anyone should hold proudly
Ping Pong is a brand name. It's table tennis.
Especially if one’s unable to achieve anything else
Just like being a professional in any other sport.
Adam's weakness are low ceilings
Yeah, get this man on your typical basement ping pong table with 8 foot ceilings and only about 6 feet of space behind the table and he might be in trouble. Seems like his main strategy is to stand wayyy back and lob until the other player makes a mistake trying to hit it hard.
Really fun to watch. can't wait for rematch
That was a really fun watch, very competitive match.
5:52
One of the best "what happened?" moments yet
not really in my opinion, "what happen" please ;)
Astonishing as always bhaiya 👌🏻😁🏓 always looking forward to watch your videos. 🔥💯
Thank you so much, Abhishek!! I hope all is well with studies and it's always good to hear from you. 8>)
@@AdamBobrow you're welcome bhaiya :) and studies are fine :D 🌺 AMaZing content again 🔥
Great performance from both of you! :) Well played!
If a tennis match was played to scale based on this match, Adam would be hitting the ball on the next zip code.
Both William's sisters lost to the 210 ranked mens player on the same day
One of my many "wait, what?!?!" moments was at 11 to 11 when she used her left hand to put her hair behind her ear mid point. And why am I watching two people play ping pong half-way across the world; a game I haven't played since I was a kid and was never very good at? Oh, - mad talent, looks like fun, and they look like cool people. If these are your rec trends, CZcams, keep it up!
Pong is so damn fun, and takes real skill to play.
Nice to see Adam, got to the next level.. because he many plays with pro players..
very fun this tennis game; and China knew that she could not give her some game boys.
Thanks for having fun and learning.
That ending is one of the best things I've ever seen in a table tennis video.
I can’t be the only one who had this recommended because of my history of watching videos making fun of the WNBA.
😐😐😐
Same
Lol
Now lets see them do one with a semi-pro male boxer vs laila ali
TheOnlyTruth Women also can last 10 seconds or less should be the title of that fight
WOWOWOW SO incredible those strikes. i love the way you let the ball bounce and let the spin get out of it, and then strike. im always hitting directly after the ball bounces on the table, which makes my shots drift off ofcourse. I play ping-pong myself, see?
OMG that shot at 4:39 was SICK!! :D
yeah didn't see that coming at all
Awesome match
And i really love the "what happend" meme. It always make me laugh 😂😂
If you can give me the link to this video or even send it to me that would be really nice.
Thank you
Ruben
CZcams algorithm is drunk again.
I watched hours of sopranos clips and they put this in my auto feed.
And now that you've clicked on it, you're just going to get more of this kind of thing lol
i think its quite obvious how much better Jiaqi is. Repeat this 3 times and she would crush you ;) Nonetheless super fun video, really enjoyed it!
These two put on a great show.
Oh to be playing ping pong with Jiaqi ✨✨✨
Wait...shakehand?
My one match against Jiaqi is one of my favorite matches ever - that I lost. She's a class act and you really have to think when playing against her.
This was my first thought too. She played penhold professionally and now plays shakehand like it was the case all along.
Seriously? Adam could wipe the floor with jiaqi, no offense, he's entertaining CZcams fans. Thanks Adam!
I wanna play table tennis again after watching this. Have played it since my youth ( am now 53 ), but lost track for many years.
And now, because of corona, all sportsclubs are closed and you can`t play anywhere.
Ended up stumbling across this and watched it all the way
Awesome! Welcome! I hope you have a chance to check out the other videos on the channel as well. Hopefully they offer some fun and positive entertainment and get you to play. 8>)
@@AdamBobrow you got some skills my guy. I’m impressed
she's beautiful at so many levels that it melts my heart. bless her!! enjoyed the whole thing!!
Adam, you are seriously good, dude!
If this video taught me nothing, it taught me to have a great slow-down defense. Man she was cracking it and you were playing it safe on half of the returns.
adam is the pro here 4:44
Incredible around the net😎😎
7:25 the Snake gets 'em every time!!
In awe watching this, wow, amazing skills
you people are amazing. and you are a lucky person. you get to see the world while playing :)
1:35 : I liked how she was humble, and just wanted to play a regular match, no gimmicks!
SIMP
I can't believe this is the same guy from the excessive ping pong celebration video years ago
Adam, your return game on the opponents power hits is impressive. I used to call what you call a "snake" shot the "texas cut" shot
Wow amazing..!!! Both of you👏👏
Adam's 7th point was probably the best I've ever seen
You weren't kidding.. that was a thing of beauty lol.. the look on her face says it all
I don’t understand probably because I’m a noob at this sport, but like when Adam plays super far back and hitting the ball sky high, why doesn’t the contender act like they gonna smack it hard but then give it just a soft touch? Would catch him completely off guard
@@TheLayZTaco that's actually a great move but can be a bit risky when the momentum is so high. Even a change in direction is difficult but both moves make an awesome looking point
Wait she's a pimple-penholder but she played regular-rubber shakehand? That's a huge disadvantage. Good job nonetheless Adam
In the short competition clip at 7:48, can see she was using a penhold grip. So she was definitely at a handicap playing against Adam in the video. I'm sure she'll win the rematch :D
Yea. She was US women’s champion and us collegiate champion as a penhold player
I have exactly zero understanding of what you're saying in your first sentence, but it sounds fun :D
@@hotshot17225 he meant the backhand is pips and the paddle is penhold
Yes, would have made a difference, but I still... Adam threw a few points to make it closer.

Four years is a long time.
Cool video 📸.
I don’t watch ping pong but you guys are mad nice I could tell in her prime she was definitely one of the best
She has really good nature👍
It was an interesting match. I don't play table tennis well enough. Was Adam playing all those lob shot defensively against a superior player, a strategy to let Jiaqi defeat herself, or just toying around? In table tennis I have done that to let aggressive players make the mistake. In regular tennis (much better at) I use lobs to mess around, slow the game down and give less experienced players a chance at some overhead returns. In a serious match, I keep the ball as close to the net as possible.
I am a table tennis player and i got the impression he was going relatively easy on her. The lobs he gave were fairly devoid of any spin and effects, but it gave her the chance to make flashy smashes. At her level she shouldnt be missing smashes which made for cool looking rallies.
When he did make an offensive play (not counting his unforced errors) they were mostly succesful. I think he avoided going on the offensive because hed probably beat her with too much point difference and might make her look a bit silly. The guy has alot of respect for her (and rightfully so seeing her skills and status) to do that.
What we got now was a fun match to look at. I think that was their goal and they succeeded :)
Ok I subscribed, even though I don't play ping pong. I just like watching the competition and fun :)
like you all your uploaded videos, great work!
