I may have a theory for that since I was the first to wonder about Elijah and his book.
Since we know what happened to their mum, the person that Elijah is worried about has to probably be their dad. And that book might be a photo album and he might have been looking at pictures of him. And with Micah saying “He’ll wake up soon” that might mean their dad’s in a coma. But that’s just my theory.
