Thank you for sharing your story. I had my surgery Aug. 28th
The surgery was not as bad as I thought it would be. The healing has been harder on me. Mine was also on the side of my nose. I've been going through some depression, but watching your video tonight gives me hope that everything will be ok. Thank you ❤

I am 54 never was in the sun as a child or much as an adult always used sunscreen. Dec 2019 noticed a (something) under my right eye.
By March it was my little (alien).
Not to big just enough that it annoyed me. With all the Covid 19 it was difficult to get in to see my doctor, by August one morning I woke up and it was bleeding.
I was like good now I don't have a see it out of the corner of my eye anymore. It went down but continued to bleed, into the doctor I went he says that needs to be removed and biopsyed today.
After a few injections and having it removed I went on to work felt fine.
5 days later I get a call saying it's Basel Cell Carcinoma best kind of cancer to have. I didn't exactly feel lucky at the time. Getting the call at work was rattling I know it wasn't the worst news but it was CANCER I HAD CANCER!
This wasn't something that was going to take my life but it was still my cancer.
I was due to have surgery Sept 21st
Unfortunately I have Covid 19 so surgery has been postponed until October.

@@jerzgirl6780 hey, sorry to hear that! If you want to talk more I just recently had my BCC removed from the top of my nose. My dermatologist coordinated with a plastic surgeon who they work with. I’d say to ask your dermatologist to recommend a plastic surgeon to do the follow up reconstruction. I had my skin graft the same day as my Mohs, but there was also the option to wait a several days and then do the reconstruction. Also, make sure to get an in person meeting with the plastic surgeon beforehand so he can look at your nose and think about/plan the best procedure ahead of time!
