Worship is a natural instinct and a basic need for every person. A simple definition of worship is to regard with great devotion or to honor as a divine being. Everyone worships something or someone. As a Christian, the by-product of knowing Jesus more intimately is worship. Worship is our response to who He is, what He has done and what He has promised to do. Worship is when we give Jesus His true worth, acknowledging Him to be the Lord of all things and of everything in our lives.
If we do not know that Jesus is supreme then He will only be in the periphery of our lives. If we know Jesus is supreme, people will see no other central attraction but Him alone and preeminent in all areas of our life.
