I did 12 in 2018 and after that i did diploma from delhi and now I am doing B. Voc in fashion technology( 1st year) ... Can i apply for nift for FD course .... Is it there any age requirement?
If you belong to general category then you can sit for the entrance if you are 23 or below and if you belong to the reserved category then you can sit for the entrance if you are 26 or 27 or below. Also if you want to apply for masters then the age limits are different.

My sister gave NIFT in 2023 and she literally saw the paper pattern a day before the exam and her crl is 430. Xd idk how she got so high when she never prepared for it. By the way love ur fashion sense.

What's the process for diploma? Do we have to write entrance for diploma also?
There's only an interview for the diploma and no entrance exam but eligibility criteria is the same as for bachelor's.

Your seat won't be confirmed until you pay so yes, you have to pay the fees.

@@sreeyasree23 Firstly, private colleges don't provide you with a degree they only have Diploma.
Secondly, the faculty, the exposure, the quality of teaching, everything is the best at NIFT and you won't get that in any private colleges.

There is no scholarship exam as such but NIFT does have scholarship. You can checkout their prospectus once for more details.

Do we have to know stitching well to study FD
If you take up FD in NIFT, they'll teach you stitching. There is an entire subject based on stitching called garment construction 😊

For NID you are not. For NIFT if you're under 23 years of age you are. I don't have an idea about uceed.

I have heard that anyone interested in joining Nift has to take maths in jr. College i.e. 11th and 12th. is this true ?!!
Ig it's suggested because the entrance exam has math questions but even if you're not a math student, you can study from suggested books and practice maths on your own. It's basic 10-12th std maths only.

Hi 👋. I'm now in 2nd year of my BA English degree. Is it possible for me to do masters after that? If yes, will I get to study everything which is needed to become a fashion designer? Like, I don't have any basics of fashion degree. So will I get to study that in masters?
I would suggest don't opt for masters because it is theory based so instead take up a Diploma course if not bachelor's in design if you want to learn designing properly 😊
