  • After watching the latest video from LRB Aquatics where he talks about needing lighting ( • I Have A Confession I ... ), and his liking my comment on using high bay lights for my garage. I decided to make a quick lighting video in case it is useful.
This video shows all the lighting options I normally use in my garage for doing projects that are on the ceiling/wall.
The led high bay light is a Commercial electric 1002 760 845 white daylight 18000 lumens light that I bought at home depot. I really like it.
Also mentioned in the video that I make custom wood boxes in case people want any as seen in some of my other videos...maybe this will be the push to finally get around to making a website for custom wood creations.

Followed from the LRB video. I must say it's better to have a lot of awesome tools and stuff in your garage that an empty one! 😁✌️

Excellent video, my ceilings are 9ft and I want the lighting to be brighter than the sun. I need to be able to SEE and I have gotten into making car videos and picture quality would be so much better if I had better lighting. Low Bay, High Bay there's no difference other than its brighter being a high bay. Now I see which way I need to go,18000 lumens or brighter. Thank you for the video. Can these light be mounted flush to the ceiling?

I would not mount them flush with the ceiling, as they put out a lot of heat and that could cause cooling issues. I have mine fairly close to the ceiling and our ceiling is < 8ft so I think if you put them 4-6 inches down from a 9 ft ceiling it probably will not cause cooling problems. Read the instructions though for whichever lights you do get as there may be options for what you find that I did not have for mine. I *really* like that light though....shadows be gone completely when it is on. :)
