Hi Dima, with all my respect to Your speculations of a "sanitair zone" may be You could also take in consideration, that Russia will have to defeat Ukraine until the "unconditional surrender" or at least some instances before! WHY - Because the NAZI-Occupation caused by US-CIA has to be neutralized for any VALUABLE PEACE AGREEEEMent!!! - It will give nothing, if an Ukrainian future government would still be hating agressively or subagressively Russia. Since Drones will fly still longer and much efficient etc.
So the most important is an EXCHANGE of the Ukrainien government including the correction of all NAZI-Laws and conditionn etc. - And looking back to WW2 it was similar, but of course had some other background. But here is the same Background, that the US DONT WANT any PEACE between Ukraine and Russia and EUROPE and Russia! - So the US will UNDERMINE EVERY peacefull solution as long as possible.... And to finde any judgement about this war we have to TAKE THIS in consideration! Otherwise we are always risking to be apart of the truth with all thinkings...!

It is obvious that Russia is going to have to take the entire Ukrainian Black Sea border land. There will be consequences for droning ships in the Black Sea. Ukraine leadership brought the loss of that territory on themselves.

The more points of pressure that are established the more effective and decisive Russian grinding operations will be. Force Breaking logistical pressure is a product of both pressure and stretching like pushing and pulling, forcing your oppoenet to move forces and reposition them frequently degrades them without operationally without consuming massive amount of munitions like the hard digging operations against prepared defenses.
In addition the quality of mobile infantry capable of dynamic defense is much higher then trench fodder and there are less of these solders to go around.. Degrading these higher quality units creates opportunist for deceive advances by degrading any UKR blocking or counter offensive capabilities..

The Chinese style of "cold shoulder" is very cutting and your joke about even being given stairs to planes was great! China saying to Scholz and especially Blinken that they are irrelevant to Russo-Asian interaction and that the Ukraine conflict is a local sore which will not interfere with trade
I do not think that Russia expend human and other resources on land as the mentioned oblasts are not friendly towards Zelenskyy's regime but it has submarine resources a-plenty even into littoral waters. These small subs are made of composites and hard to detect by US drones and UK SIGINT planes. It is possible that a Global Hawk or two will be downed.
Re the Kharkiv buffer zone, I understand that there is action near Slatyne, a village on high ground overlooking the Lopan River plain. It would support your comments about the range of Vampyrs and ATACMS over the border.
Thank you for pointing out that Russia does not intend to "take" Kharkiv city. Moscow and Kharkiv city governors have usually made deals and Kharkiv needs access to Russia's rail networks -- as it has maintained using contracts and business rules.

Here in the states our defense industry doesn’t these missiles quickly. As a matter of fact our stockpiles of these missiles are low and we need them for our own defense. This has been an ongoing problem with the Ukrainians and their wasteful use of weapons on meager targets. In my opinion, which is not worth much, taking out a few MiGs and some other minor targets was a stupid. Is like they get hard ons over Crimea. Buffer zone. 🤔 So unless Russia pushes back UAF 25 or so miles from their border, what's the point. There are towns in Russia closer than Belgorod. UAF can still strike with artillery. Not to mention Ukraine can just use drones like they've been doing and hit 100s of km inside Russia. So buffer zone on any little size under 100 miles give or take, even then, pointless over all. Ukraine can just use cruise missiles to hit 100s of km inside Russia then.
