My kiddos are bff now but, when they were younger, they were at each other's throats. I remember one particularly hard day of them continuing to fight with each other, I had a meltdown (seriously, I scared the crap out of them) and myself) I realized I frighteningly yelling so hard that I stopped mid-sentence and looked at them and said, "Mommy needs a time-out" and I went upstairs. They are now adults (30/32) and they said that after seeing me lose it they made a pack not to ever fight in front of me again. They became so close after this and continue to be tight.
