Ok, so someone in 1994 brought a cassette recorder into the park, took it on Mr Toad's Wild Ride, leaned over the side of his car and dropped it off beside the track, then rode again and picked it up... to record 8 minutes of chicken noises? I'm not saying that's bad, I'm just trying to make sense of the existence of this recording.
The guy who uploaded this video made the recording. He worked at Disney World back in the early '90s and documented all kinds of things at the park. Also, he wasn't actually riding MTWR when he placed the tape-recorder in the barn scene; he worked at the attraction and got to walk through it every now and then. He also has an entire website about the things he's documented, which is pretty interesting stuff. Here's the page on Mr. Toad: www.omniluxe.net/wyw/mtwr.htm
This is the kind of audio Disney World fans like me who went to the park as a child in the 70s and as a teen in the 80s and saw the Disney World we knew disappear in the 90s when we were adults die for, because something like this really helps someone like me connect with what it was like to be there and wish I could get off the ride and lose myself in the background of the place. That's how magical and innovative WDW was for an impressionable mind like mine back then!
Lol 1944 yes the war was still on and Disney World didn't exsist yet. History does come alive there doesn't it? Love the sound effects and the ambience of the plucking chickens, somehow the song cuts off at half-way.
It's kind of fun to listen for how many vague, muffled sound effects you're able to make out bleeding through from other scenes.

Did you do more of these recordings in other parts of the ride? It would be really fun to hear audio at the railroad crossings and the train tunnel.
You should have done the merrily on our way Disney world Version in town square at disney world
He has, but it's only accessible through his website and not on CZcams: www.omniluxe.net/wyw/mtwrtownsquarebglive.mp3
