Jim Williams Good and Evil Full Circle

When The New York Times Best Seller "of all time," a murder and murder trial story, Midnight In The Garden of Good and Evil, landed in1993, it set Savannah on fire in ways the town couldn't imagine and Bonaventure Cemetery became an international name as "the garden" in the title sense of things. The incredible cover photo taken in Bonaventure Cemetery by photographer Jack Leigh made it package perfect and the title more iconic. Many of the real Savannahians now referred to as "characters," from "The Book," are no buried in Bonaventure, most notably, the victim of Jim Williams, one young 21 year old, Danny Hansford who Williams shot and killed in 1981. Over 22 years of telling stories in Bonaventure, one of the most commonly asked questions, "Where's Jim Williams buried?" I answer this in this video and do so graveside with other personal insights into the man, the myth, the legend and as someone who knew him personally in as much as one could know Jim Williams. One day I'll tell that whole story but for now, a visit to his grave!
