i saw the national in vancouver in 2009. matt drank a bottle of red wine on stage. the guy sitting next to me offered me lsd from an eye dropper. i remember thinking, damn, how could you function at a concert like that with so many people around. i get it now.

I like that she gets her own verses. I loved " Your Mind is Not Your Friend", but, at least to my ears, Phoebe's voice was barely audible in that song.
