Van and truck owner here. Seat comfort for long drives, easy access for cruise control, our knees take abuse going in and out from higher floors, you've addressed the bumped head issue with the high roof, high quality and rigid bulkhead for safety and functionality, the speedometer must be extremely visible dead center between the steering wheel and not off to the left or right, the Florida sun completely hides the visibility I need to see the dashboard so do NOT use amber lighting on the dash-use an adjustable green and finally if you are going to give us storage space above the dash be sure to make it secure as well. Thanks a bunch. Europeans think differently from Americans oddly.
Yes, the speedometer is always the forgotten thing in van and lorry design (even in modern cars) and should be clear, and easy to glance at to get an accurate reading of the speed your travelling at. And the speedometer should be marked in increments of ten miles per hour (ie 10, 20, 30 etc) what would help too is for the vehicle to have as standard, is a means of the vehicle knowing the speed limit for the road travelled on and see the limiter so that there is no chance of accidentally speeding... The drivers license is his/her passport to staying in employment.
@@macjim Thank you for your comment. Itis a very big problem in vehicles made in the states now. My 2 Mercedes Sprinters were great. My rigs were also very good.
@@ArtOfHealth Van is for the routes that UPS delivers packages, drivers will not be sitting for long, it should be designed better from getting in and out 20+ times per hour.
@@sahibsingh2044 I totally agree. After running a bread route and a FedEx route, my knees and lower back were wiped. I drive a Dodge Ram Promaster City and that is easier to work out of than the previous full sized vans and trucks.
My comment to add to the list of things needing to be changed, would be for that rear step to be made deeper either by moving the ledge further into the vans interior, or to bring it further outwards. When walking out of the van with parcels in your hands, that step, where the foot is put down, lands on the raised edge and lower outer part making that a potential point for twisting your ankle on as it's not a flat area. See the bit where the chap lands his foot before stepping down onto the factory floor...
1:48 A nice feature would be if the seat locks in place while in drive but when you put it in park it unlocks so it can rotate 90° making it more natural to get out of
Nikola had nothing to prove, not even a land for its factory. But Arrival has two micro factories and the research they have done is much more advanced than other startups.
I find getting in and out the van much harder then it should be. if the seat swivelled in direction of entry, I feel this would make sitting much easier. Am 30 and fit, but I doesn’t feel natural to slide sideways into the van seat. Excited to see arrival vans on the road.
I wanna get one and convert it into a day van - also have you thought of making a 7/8/9 seater? I think a lot of businesses would like to use them to ferry people around :)
Can you please approach for your services to Indian government and specially Govt of Delhi(Capital of India) .... Delhi govt. will most likely go for it if you will able to deliver it at low cost❤️❤️❤️...I am a Delhi Citizen and I would love to use it in the city❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
The Rivian van seems to be a much better design. Should'nt you have consulted with delivery companies while designing. What happened to the original design, the one pictured with the Royal Mail logo?
I read somewhere they abandoned it because of bad aerodynamics because of the flat windscreen. Also the round shapes were probably more expensive to make and less practical i guess.
If you want to question the existing sub-par experiences you must not ask existing drivers who are accustomed to and expect them. You need to get new drivers to start using your product and complain about what they find. I think you also need people from other countries who have another viewpoint.

It is great that Arrival asks real life drivers for input and does not just build based on what an engineer thinks. Great Job! 👍

The look and the features of every vehicle from The Arrival is amazing.

Amazing to see UXR methods adapted for the van, you guys are going to go far with the work you’re doing!
ARVL it's my company for at least next 5 years. Very cheap at $13.28 dollars.
$300 dollars price target for 2024. 🚀🚀🚀
iterative, agile car manufacturing? Amazing! Keep it coming. Love the company!
I really hope this company is compared to Tesla in the future and not Nikola. 👀
Nikola had nothing to prove, not even a land for its factory. But Arrival has two micro factories and the research they have done is much more advanced than other startups.
Really great stuff! The focus on user experience is really nice!

How refreshing to consult the people who use them everyday and find out what they need.

I think they’ll be really useful for airport runs where you need luggage space & the ability to get people in & out quickly
Looking forward to seeing some demonstrators out there on the road for some real world testing
looking forward to see next video clips thanks👍
Would be great if you did a smaller version.. some of the places I go to are very tight.. a van that size wouldn’t be practical.
These look fun to drive!
Love the looks!

How are your vans going to be charged? You guys can trying patterning with Tesla to use ther superchargers.

Apart form delivery which other industries is the van targeting?
Are Arrival planning om going public anytime soon?

I too prefer the original van design
Did anybody say that they wanted a speed display in front of the driver? I can't be the only one who dislikes central speedometers.

Stock tanked today 😅
How about you show everyone the environment in the areas where Africans mine the metals for a dollar a day?

Legacy is Arrival. Watch this company go bust in 5 years.
It's a scam.
