I'll be stripping off the paint of a piece of furniture that I refinished that wasn't selling. I knew this was a solid wood piece and would look beautiful stripped and bleached. I'm using wood bleach for the first time and a Stick & Style style stencil for some contrast to the natural, bleached wood. I'm taking this dresser from English Country to Boho. Can I get it done?

Gorgeous, I love the transformation of the transformation! Leaving the raw wood, unstenciled strip on the drawers was absolutely perfect. I personally think it makes the piece! Adding the bar hardware echoes the horizontal stripe. Kudos, Christina!

Love that....just learned about the “gunk” as you referred to it...,I bought oak boards to make shelves in my kitchen....sanded down....put poly on and all these little splinters showed up!? I used this color in Salem blue on a mahogany dresser 50 years ago tooooo cutesy so I repainted with dark China red and bronzed hardware. Loved the boho look also would be easy to redo when desired 👍🏻
