I agree, aim assist is more of a negative to an experienced player. It interferes with your aim too much. I had to turn it off. There are instances where you want to anticipate a corner or a window and the aim assist will chase an enemy and throw your aim way off.

Does anyone else have the problem where there is 100% CPU usage while playing Battlefield 1? My game stutters and lags occasionally even though I have a decent build (GTX 970 & i5 4690K) and I think the abnormal CPU usage is the problem (and not my RAM, which is 8GB, because the game never uses over 7.3GB). I've tried about 5 unique solutions offered online, and while they have seemed to help, there is still stuttering and lag (dipping below 60). It usually happens during intense action. If anyone could help, I'd appreciate it!
Hey bro so after checking online for solutions, I think I found a fix. Go in your C:\Program Files (x86)\Origin Games\Battlefield 1, find user cfg file, and save this in the file: gametime.maxvariablefps 61 RenderDevice.RenderAheadLimit 2 After putting these, my CPU usage is like 60% and rarely 100%. I do not stutter anymore, so I'm guessing this worked! If it doesn't work for you, try values 1 and 3 for the second line. Good luck!

I've gotta give it to the Bravo clip. It may have been only 1 kill.. but with that much distance and hitting it with a single shot with that much bullet drop and so far over to the left... that was a BIG kill! This isn't COD where you can snipe anyone with zero difficulty. If you can snipe in Battlefield.. you've got to have some skill. I think clip Echo was a close 2nd tho for sure

If you haven't fixed your problem go into advanced video settings or basic whichever it is. and set your frame limit to 60.
