Everything said and done, but what about hard water stains? I'm fed up of hard water stains and the build ups due to hard water around sink area. Do you have any solutions for this problem?

I too have a white quartz countertop ,maids have ruined the area between sink nd hob .The area near the sink gets stained when maids wash utensils nd place the steel utensil basket ,how to prevent that any tips ?Because maids use the countertop area to scrub the vessels !inspite of using cloth underneath that area is slightly stained as compared to remaining countertop
