If you look at the grip on the "sweeper" Kimbrel threw you can see that is is a knuckle curve.
Yep--agreed. I made that point in one of the comments. I see that same thing. Now, you "can" throw a spiked sweeper...but it seems doubtful that he's doing that.

According to the Orioles broadcasters, Kraig Kimbrel has a slider that is pitch track usual registers as a knuckle curve (separate from his actual knuckle curve)
Looking at that grip though, it's a Knuckle Curve grip. You can see the raised knuckle

Kimbrel's post season exploits leave much to be desired. He nearly imploded several times for the Red Sox in 2018 and was one of the main reasons the Phillies went down last year. He was awful for the Cubs and blew many big games. Having said that, he has been dominant in the regular season for many years and has had incredible statistical seasons. He's outlasted all the typical closers that people will think are uber dominant, only to flame out in a few years. He's having another monster year with the Orioles. Let's see how his exploits happen in the post season this year. Could get a plaque if O's win the W.S.

Zach Wheeler didn’t pitch well (especially in the first 2 innings) but the Cubs were asleep to start the game. However, he did have the sickest 2-seamer I’ve seen all year long that was called a ball. That guy is nasty.
Wheeler routinely has an O-Swing% on his sinker between 40-50%, every year. In 2022, it was over 50%. That’s bonkers. I’m still upset that the Mets let him roll away to Philly (get it? They let Wheel-er roll away? I’m so ashamed).

Bauer had a 19-strike-out game earlier this week in 8 1/3 innings. Ninja why don't you ask him for his footage and check it out. Does not matter what league you're in that's impressive.
They had some Twitter beef started by Bauer so I think prob not. If some team finally signed him, maybe they would cover it.
