Totally agree. if you've ever seen Kellese dance in person, her style is very smooth and subtle, but she ALWAYS has plenty of energy and her aura is felt from across the room.
Nobody should judge this performance, "lest they be judged" Cmon when you win So you think you can dance, you don't have to prove anything to anyone. "Don't hate , congratulate" They were both excellent.
She is quite amazing! Her hubby is a shag dancer, so you know she can surely keep up, she has to keep up with Brent's feet...she has some of the most amazing feet on the west coast seen... she knows how to play in the basics with out taking over the dance or beine off balance when the lead takes her another direction...this is someone to truly look up too. Kellese is one of the best west coast swing folowers in the USA, check the titles she as won all with different partners. She's smooth and graceful with her moves. And we all know that Benji is sometimes too busy with his foot work. I bet all of us would like to be as good as either one of them. I agree with thedancefactory
Definitely better with the red outfits. This one is missing that lovely assisted run across the floor as well as the bit with the staircase. The other one flows a lot better.
@Mollidew It doesn’t distract at all for me....I'm watching his feet not his face....He’s one of the best dancers I’ve seen....You can see how much he enjoys what he does by the excitement on his face...The man has charisma
You know what, people need new faces and fresh wind.. otherwise it will be Benji and Heidi for the next ten years in all events - even if they are too good, freshness is always a nice feeling, and freshness Kellese sure has!
That song seems ill matched for a west coast swing routine. It conjured up thoughts of Once Upon A Time In Mexico, which is a good movie, so I appreciate the memories. too mariachi
1) That ending was crazy! 2) That was faaasst! Only complaint: I'm not a big fan of the music... it was like they were dancing to elevator music. And the choreography seemed to fit something more peppy and rock-ish.
i absolutely LOVE benji but i have to say this isnt the best version....the one with them in the red outfits is just amazing,and that girl was made to wear red
energy? that would be mostly because benji is a spaz. the energizer bunny looks lethargic compared to him. which is too bad because if he would learn to control it, he'd truly be great. Remember - it's America's Favorite dancer, not best.
I have seen a few things of him dancing including the film he was in and he is always making faces. I think it detracts from the dance and I don't particularly like this dancer in anything I have seen him do. I guess because he is so weird in the way he dances it attracts attention.

totally agree....Benji`s energy level didnt fit this music at all! That said....the choreo was fantastic.
