I'm so glad you peeked at one of the gifts and enjoyed my flowers. I lightly tied the fancy buttons on so you could untie them if you would like to substitute one of your x-stitch buttons on it or you can permanently attach it. The other two long threads you can tie the flower onto something or tack it on. Thanks for letting us know about the HL buttons being on sale. I love the glitzy ones but they're usually so expensive. I might have to get the book with fairy tales in it. Love the Hansel and Gretel scene. I wish they would show you the projects inside, not the patterns of course. I have the Retro and Christmas books by her. Looking forward to seeing Carolyn too.
Sallie and I decided to make covered buttons for our EGA (Embroiderers Guild of America) members and gave them out at our Christmas party. We talked a little about it on our last episode and plan to show more on our next one. We are August 1823 Stitchers. Thank you for the idea!
I lived the colors you chose for the little girl pushing the carriage. My hair was like that long ago...😊 in the pattern with the carolers, those blue berries might be juniper berries since they are entwined with that greenery.
