you can change to an all elecric mode. at least with the a20+ . while display is off, pull the gas triger full, pull right brake and left brake, hold all 3 while powering the display on, whit a few seconds, release all triggers. power off and power on. now the 3 level should be all elecrical. you can reset this with doing the same procedure without the gas. but with maximum power and all electical you will only get like 20 km 😅 maybe a bit more because im at 102 kg ....but driving with 35 throug the fields is great, especialy when cruise modus is activated, so you even dont need to pull the gas trigger 😎

i have tested the bike on some pretty rough uphill terrain. after a couple of minutes of heavy use in assist mode 2 or 3 the motor turns off and E07 appears on the display. then after a couple of minutes the motor turns back on but makes a strange noise and turns off again. after about 10 minutes it goes back to normal.
maybe the controller cannot handle this much power demand, i wonder if there is a way to limit the power output in assist mode 2 or 3.

I love the price of this (well the A20+) compared to the Himos (be it the Z16, Z20, or the ZB20) but with the max models costing a fair deal more for what looks like less power and the lack of throttle I don't quite know what to do. Beaullah hill, herne hill. Denmark hill..and the A20 handles them All with some light peddling. I have the upgraded controller. Which has 5 gears. 3 pedal assist. And pas 4 and 5 are for THROTTLE only. When I want to ride up a hill I got to pas 4. And just give it a little help with gear 6 or 7. It's a great bike.

Got mine and I have to say the paint job really isn't great. My box wasn't damaged in traffic and I took great care not to cause any scratches unpacking it but there were quite a few scuffs and scratches in the black version as well. I guess that comes with the price-tag. There were also a lot of metal shavings still in the bike frame frome where they've milled out the battery cavity.
Other than that it rides pretty solidly and the front mudguard can be adjusted to prevent it from bottoming out (even though both front and rear guards are are probably the flimsiest things I've seen so far).
The USB type A port on the handlebars is a nice touch and supplies roughly 1.5A @ 5V according to my tests, so it's actually useable to charge a smartphone at moderately high speed. It does however get extremely hot even after 10 minutes of use, which is super common for cheap dc-dc converters like those also found in Aliexpress spec USB car chargers)
I would agree with the review, decent bike for the money.
The manual lists the weight at 24/28 Kg with/without battery, have you weight yours?
