The song was released on the album of the same name "White Eagle" in 1982 and separately as a 12" as soundtrack of the "Tatort"-series episode. Tangerine Dream are undoubtedly among the most important representatives of contemporary electronic music and are regarded as co-inventors of the "Berlin School" style.
