Same here, used Facebook and Instagram to promote it before setting it up and I got about 150 sales the first two weeks now its doing pretty well on a monthly basis. Added a few templates to my digital products and over all its lucrative.

I've always wondered.. aren't you worried that when someone downloads your ebook after paying for it, he or she could upload it somewhere else and resell it without you ever finding out? isn't that a risk with ebooks that are not sold over KDP? Or do you have some password system so that the person who downloads it can only read the ebook in his/her own PC? I'd be interested to hear your thoughts or watch a video on this topic.
Bloki en Casa // Good question. You might need to have some sort of legal protection set up, but again I am unsure how that would work.
I only sold my ebooks through Amazon and they are pirated all the time. Trust me, Amazon canât protect you.

Hi! An eBook can have as many pages as you'd like to add. 3 or 300 :) I'm selling a 25-page eBook through Payhip that does quite well. So I would say yes. As far as adding visuals in your eBooks go, yeah I think that's fine. Though, I would recommend optimizing them so the file size of your eBook doesn't end up too big. I hope this helps.

Just looked into it now and they also integrate your Facebook store and others.
I was going to use Payhip but when I asked a question prior to putting some books onto their site, I was told in no uncertain terms that they do not allow you to do this unless you write the book. Can anyone tell me if they have had this experience, as lots of people promote them on CZcams.

I believe if you purchased a plr ebook you have the right to put your name on it. You just can't take any ebook you found online and sell it.

I think if you sell with Amazon they retain the rights to your book and it is no longer technically yours. So i do not think you could sell on Amazon in addition to other sites. But I do not know. If anyone has more info. on this please let me know. Thank You.

PurposePlus PH thanks for your question. I donât think thereâs a marketplace on the Payhip website, at least I couldnât find one. So I use my website to drive traffic to my sales pages on Payhip, as well as social campaigns.

@@vanmarciano I don't quite understand why would you drive traffic to Payhip instead of selling your ebook directly on your website? All you need is a page dedicated to selling the ebook. The customer places the order via a contact form or email, you send the ebook via email or download page, and receive payments via Paypal or other online payment processor. This way you don't have to pay the 5% or even higher procents to any commercial platform.
Selling your ebook via commercial platforms make sense only if they are a marketplace and you get customers there automatically without the need for you to do extra promotion elsewhere and drive traffic to your sales page.

@@abdurraquib387 OK, so you need to think long term. I use a free eBook as a lead magnet to get people onto my email list. That is is the benefit, I'm building my email list which I can later on use to promote highly relevant products and services. But here's the important bit - The key is not to just provide any old mediocre ebook for free. Anyone can do that. You still have to ensure you're giving away an ebook that will provide incredible value and resource for someone. Because when you are willing to provide such high value for free, people will learn to trust you more. And when they trust you they will be able, willing, and ready to pay for your premium content, products, and services later on. At least that is what I have found to work for me. That said, you don't want to be known as the person who always gives things away for free, otherwise, that will be what people always expect from you. You have to stop somewhere and say OK, this stuff was for free, now this is my premium stuff. Hope all that makes sense and hope it was helpful.
Are these ok with pdf files or do they require a different format? I know Amazon requires a different format but do the others?
Payhip is OK with PDF files, so is Sellfy. Sellfy, in fact, provides PDF stamping to help make products unique to customers :)
