I'm with ya. With Sophy, a proper B spec would be interesting. Would allow each player to "train" Sophy to their own skill level for single player too. Allowing everyone to have competitive experience against A.I. that could stand to actually help them improve.
The 3rd race I had something happen like that when I went from b split to a. I went from starting first without question to 3-6 area my first a split race I pulled a blinding double dive (clean) into that first hairpin the second double apex corner before the long straight had a massive shunt I won by 5 seconds and almost started crying.
Toward the beginning, why didn't Bobo, and subsequently, Super GT 2x more, get any penalties for all that deliberate contact? I am feeling like I made the right choice in never even loading up this race.
Qualifying better usually has the opposite affect in my experience. So I spend the time to get quicker in qually, 1 second, 2 seconds quicker. Yeah now let's race, when now my starting position will be further back in the field. Not only that but instead of being in a like class race "B" I will be outclassed put with A and A+. I love how that works, this game, don't even know why I play it.
The "All Japan GT Car Championship" introduced with Weekly Challenges August - Week 4 needs to be a permanent addition. Moreover it should be a proper championship including Suzuka and Fuji.
I'm happy how in a good number of videos you've explained how you find the new game physics. All of these videos have been using your racing simulator setup though, could you try out the new game physics with a normal controller?

i want pd to make daily race a 1) an actual race that changes daily and b) a mostly random car and track combination. the only requirements are that it has to be at least 5-10 minutes long, and that it cant be too similar from one day to the next. and then add daily race d to the lineup
So the 1st half of the track is Daytona motor speedway. Looks pretty straight forward the rest of the lap. Something new to try, not the best track but a bad day sim racing is better than a good day pretending to work.

On the one hand, watching these races is always fun and usually funny at times. On the other, I do wish there was more variety in the races themselves. Seeing a Gr.4 race only to find every single person using the same car because it is the only competitive one is a little sad and it takes away from the variety I’d expect a grouped race to offer.
It's fascinating that the devs of racing games cannot code a way to stop these wall bangers and car bashers. Can the code not recognize these moves as they happen, so it could just ghost the car, turn off It's tire grip, so it careens into the nearest wall, sticks like a magnet to the wall for 5 seconds minimum, than let the car resume?
I think they should go full blown. 6 tracks, 2 from each country, one medium, one endurance. Each race with 3 car classes. Totaling to 36 race options, changing every month. And 2 other beginner/kid friendly races with required cars.
