Lights! Camera! Action! - BBC 'The Way' filming in Neath Port Talbot with Michael Sheen

- As you might know, our county borough has featured in a variety of TV shows and films thanks to the stunning scenery and sweeping landscapes.
From Dr Who & Willow to Twin Town and The Passion, we have helped provide the backdrop to some of your favourite shows on both the big and small screen
Now, we can share details of a new BBC drama which has been filming throughout Neath Port Talbot over the Summer.
Directed by Michael Sheen, It tells the story of an ordinary family caught up in an extraordinary chain of events that ripple out from their home town.
The majority of filming has taken place across the area in recent weeks, so naturally we caught up with Michael and the creative team behind this three-part series to find out why they chose NPT as the backdrop for their first major production.

What a great Guy! My hubby and I met Mr Sheen when he was here in Port Talbot! Didn't get his autograph though as I was too starstruck!! He's lovely!👌😊♥️♥️

Great video, I’m excited to see the show when it comes out, and I will have to visited Port Talbot one of these days as I’m only about 90 mins away in another sea side town - Weston Super Mare 😊 would love to meet Michael one day to show my appreciation for his amazing acting in so many things and the support he gives to people and his community 😊

He's from Port Talbot, and his accent i think gets increasingly thicker the more he is around other Welsh people

The series is truly fantastic, it had to be a movie because it's almost too good for normal TV programming!
And it was great to see a bit of Wales and hear a bit of the Welsh language and accent, it's a country that deserves to be much better known!

The show was good, but the third episode wasn’t good and didn’t do an a lot should have been six episodes.
