how low can you go?
do not make this test on to high volume it might damaged your speaker, headphones or ears.

35 Hz is when you really start feeling it. 17 Hz is the last clear "note/tone" I could hear, after that, it just felt like the waves were getting further apart (imagine a big fan spinning, that's what it sounds like).
Headphones: Soundcore Q35 headphones
Edit: I could "hear" all the way down below 3 Hz, but past that point, it's more of something you feel more than you hear it.

I can actually hear all the way down to 5hz, although I did need to turn my volume all the way up because my headphones are very bad at playing bass, and even worse at sub bass. Before someone says that I’m just feeling it, that’s not the case, while I do feel it, I am also actually hearing it. In fact, due to how bad my headphones are at playing sub bass, I could actually hear it more than feel it, though it was a bit difficult due to the static. If you’re curious as to what it sounds like, the only way I can describe it is that it sounds like an actual sound wave, which isn’t a very good description, but that’s what it sounds like. A wave, of sound

You'll feel bass + hear the bass note till 20Hz. Once it goes below that, put on full volume and you'll feel sound pressure, not an actual note though. Anyone showing off you hear 1Hz or whatever, please.

Human hearing bottoms out at around 20hz, for some a little lower. Headphones / speakers can send out x amount of hz (check the technical data sheet for your product). To those of you who think you can hear down to under, say, 16hz, think again. Even if your hearing is that good, most likely your speakers / headphones aren't. What you're hearing is probably overtones, which aren't at the given hz but higher.
When you pause the video but you can still hear it
My speaker said “please charge” after hitting 50Hz 😭
I have two five inch? speakers and a seven inch? Subwoofer system that plygs into a wall so I don't need to charge them. I don't know the actual size of the speakers so I just guessed. But they're pretty good. I think about 7 years old and they aren't manufactured anymore.

@@youremother. I can **easily** sense audio below 20Hz. You're straight up wrong. The headphones are absolutely playing the right frequency when I do this.
@@lambdaman3228 It can change, but generally humans hear between 20Hz and 20000Hz. Your headphones might vibrate while working and you might be detecting that rather than hearing it as well.
@@gammarayneutrino8413 I see where you're coming from. We would need to rigorously define "hearing" to really decide. That's part of why I said I can "sense" audio. Below a certain point, the sensation is different.

Crazy that when the frequency falls below the 10 Hz, you can start hearing the noise floor of 16-bit increasingly louder.
~40 Hz was the magic number for my subwoofers. That shit sounded really good.
Lowest frequency for humans to hear is 12hz, after that you can hear just the volume of the sinewave going up and down.
The only smart person in the comments is you.
@@miscellaneous1276 What is this circlejerking, lmao. Absolutely pathetic.
Nah bro I could hear til 3 hz. Sounded like a motorcycle. At 2 it stopped making sounds and just kept doing the sinewave thing. Maybe get better headphones?
The cutoff point is obviously not instantaneous and differs from person to person. It can be hard to distinguish if you are hearing an actual tone or just the harmonics and noise caused by the individual vibrations at very low frequencies as well.
@@asyncasync exactly, the lower you go after like 60hz it becomes more quiet so you turn the volume up, i noticed it had a lot of noise also the sinewaves volume curve became slower the whole time.
