The farm takes up most of the day and at night i just like a cup of tea So I can't devote myself full time to the aul guinness. Should we all be gurus now?
Given that I and many of your followers came on board for the Guinness content, videos like this are really nice to see. I'm loving the new content but the occasional Guinness video is much appreciated. 👌
Love these videos! Always will remember you as the Guinness Guru but as an American looking to make a trip to the UK I appreciate all the different travel vlogs/reviews you put up!
£6 a pint now in Belfast. Jog on. The homebar i built during covid lockdown was worth the investment, and im sure part of the problem (people not going out means higher prices to keep the doors open).
@@ckpalmeiras1318 absolutely. Higher energy prices and not very many people going out early/midweek puts these pubs in a vicious cycle of having to raise prices which in turn makes less people go out and round and round it goes. Its sad to see.
Darragh - would love to see you come on a tour of Texas. As a Texan with an Irish surname, I can certainly say the black stuff in Ireland is worlds better than at home, but I'd love to hear an expert's thoughts on the best pints in the state. There's big Irish scenes and GAA clubs in Dallas and Austin and we'd love to have you around for the craic.
Maybe have Guinness Guru in brackets beside darragh curran or aka?. I enjoyed the steakhouse in dublin review, ever think about doing some of the burger/fast food/restaurants etc, I watched nearly all of the food review clubs videos in dublin and belfast, not sure about the guy presenting but I couldn't help but watch all of the videos, just interesting to see what real people think about black forge, supermacs etc. I assume they took it off the guy who just goes round all of the fast food places with his chair and table and he is not very suitable for the camera but gets a lot of views. What is that place opposite the temple bar pub in dublin, is it a yoghurt place, no intention of ever going but would like to know what it serves and if it is any good.
Don't apologies for Guinness content I say - they came on board for a reason at the start! Great to hear about this place - might be worth a visit for the novelty alone.....but if it won't give me a face scanned pint or 4% alcohol ice-cream I do worry..... 😂 Great stuff lad!
Studies from the University of Geneva recently concluded that Belfast Guinness prices have increased 35% due to the Guinness Guru, Brexit, and the war in Ukraine.
Just had afew pints in maddens and bittles from your recommendations. Bittles definitely the better pint. In Kelly's cellar here posting this comment, happy day😀. Love your new content buddy 👍
I am trying to learn here. Can someone please tell me why we in Scotland. can’t get the same quality of Guinness. I have tried so many different places not one can come close to the places I have visited in Ireland.
Was in here a month or so ago, as someone from Scotland where 90% of the Guinness is shit. It was top class for the pints I got. Thr bossman makes all his own stuff, I tried the ice cream he offered. It was top class as well.
I was here a wee while ago and exactly the same coming after Bittles but I think I remember mentioning the lack of shtick as well but decent tasty pint.
DC, is it better to start the day with the best pint and be on a disappointment for the rest of the day, or build up to, and finish with the best pint.
Did he say "mainland England..."? If he did, it's really better that he stop because England doesn't see itself in this way. N. Ireland isn't like the Isle of Wight.
You need to try the Guinness in The Horseshoe, crumlin village, ice cold and smooth, its revered in the local community, I'll meet you there so the locals don't skin you alive (i jokes)
@daragh Curran be grand to get a answer on something I’ve asked a few times now so I’ll ask again , any chance in getting to Norway and doing a review on the Guinness over here as it’s banging

You guys over the water must be earning some serious dosh to afford six quid for a pint of Guinness. I had a couple yesterday in the Derbyshire Peak District, £3.17 and I don't consider that cheap after all, it's just a pint of beer.
Good work dropping a guiness review in just every now and again.

I'm from Belfast myself and the best pint of Guinness ever is at the harbour bar portrush 👌 best £5.75 I've spent lol

Awesome to get another Guinness review - absolute legend
think this place would be a lot more popular if they dropped prices a little.
Nah keep prices high, keeps the riffraff out
6.90 up in northern Ireland keep it lol

€6.90 is more expensive than most places in central Dublin, and Belfast has those tiny NI wages. Inflation is mad in the North right now!

The only pub in the whole of Northern Ireland that sells ou Guinness…? Wow!
The only pub in all of ireland to sell just guinness I believe.
Is this pub really in Belfast? If so why does the barman refer to England as the mainland.
