The company is small, they don't have the means to compete with the bigger companies unless MCND have a blockbuster comeback that attracts a massive ammount of attention. I'm very happy with TOP Media's choice to switch up MCND's music style now. The boys can graduate from their chanty noise music and let their vocalists shine a bit more. We are proud of MCND's hip hop roots but we're glad to see maturity in their music too.

Okay, so I know this is going to sound totally off-the-wall, but since no one else has mentioned it... I've spent the whole day with this song on loop, and I realized something: the subtitles aren't a one-to-one translation of the lyrics, they're actually English lyrics written to flow and fit the melody (try singing along with them!). This reminded me of the subtitles to 'Shut Up 받고 Crazy Hot!' by Oneus, where the subs are also English translyrics... and an English ver. of the song is _part of the single._ So I have a theory, hear me out: there's a chance that the reason these lyrics are prepared is because we're getting an English version of the song with the comeback. (just edited this comment to make things more concise)
You're probably right! At least in the chorus that I'm trying to learn in Korean, the meaning is totally different in the English subs, as far as I can tell with my limited Korean at least 😁
Excellent, really, they just get better and better and this is a very solid song. Choreo is terrific too. They're so in sync with each other, yet have their own style when they solo. I love a group where it 's hard to have a bias due to how evenly talented they are, but I hope that Huijun NEVER cuts that hair or does it in any stupid colour, and keeps that wild rock-edge look as it suits him so well, and as a main vocalist that note he hit was spot on although he's fast catching my eye as a main dancer these days as well.
