What hockey fanatic won't watch both? SUPER NICE VIDEO, except the beginning when almost all of the cool moments are scores and not saves. Put a little goalie love in your heart. Since you have the facts (much appreciated), is there any immigration loophole that permits American's from becoming Canadian's based purely on their love of hockey?
Pretty surprised there aren’t more Quebec teams on the list, like the Lac st Louis Lions. They have produced nhl talent like Jonathan drouin, Anthony duclair, Mike Matheson and many more. They also win multiple tournaments on a regular basis.
Justin Filippone lucky u I wish I had a pretty known junior AAA team to play for but I’m from Alaska... only way to get known is to play down in the states or in Canada for tournaments
Com’on, nearly all of the clubs are from Ontario or BC except for ND Hounds. There are brilliant programmes in Quebec and Alberta (e.g. Red Deer Chiefs, Calgary Buffaloes)
fuck i was wondering rhat also like they had matt savoie and dylan guenther, they were such a crazy team, i haven’t seen them lose a game on youtube yet
Marlboros are on a different level of elite hockey every year. The best of the best players go to that team just because of their reputation. Also, Dylan Strome played for the Marlboros his whole AAA career, not the rebels. Trust me, played against him every year. the GTHL is the best hockey organization in the world, clearly the most elite and popular
I. Am good friends with someone who played for the Norte dame hounds, she then played at Cornell as an assistant captain and played with the pro women’s team the Markham thunder, and is now currently playing in the pwhpa
Back in ‘98 we went to the Air Canada Cup in Sudbury now the Telus Cup on the Atlantic Team from Saint John New Brunswick the SJ Flames. It was a great experience I will never forget. The only team we beat was Don Mills Flyers in the tournament.
In Canada tier 1 and AAA hockey are different, I’ll explain for the Americans: tier 1 is house league. AA and AAA are considered: elite AA or elite AAA
Notre Dame should be higher than 15. Their bantam aaa team played in Regina’s midget aa league last year and went undefeated with an average score of 5-1
As a former AAA player from toronto... too many GTHL teams (only the mississauga reps and markham majors werent mentioned) Markham Waxers definitely need a mention.. as do whitby wildcats, and some teams from montreal or quebec
That what I also found strange all his picks are in Ontario and BC lol lol Canada has a lot more provinces. Alberta, Quebec and maritimes were excluded from top 20 lol lol
I thought the Cole Harbour Wings from Halifax Nova Scotia should have made the list they have produced Nathan McKinnon and Sidney Crosby but not my list
Nah the Halifax Subways were their own team. CHMHA is not in this bc yeah they produced Nate and sid but that's it, give it a few more years tho the Q is always overlooked for developers. CHMHA will have more future graduates.
Originally I thought the Prince Albert Mintos would be on here, winning 3 Telus cups in a 9 year span. However I realize these rankings are mostly based on NHL alumni where the mintos don’t have very many. Cough cough, Manson, Tokarski, Regehr, Ingram. Sounds like they would’ve been a good team near the 15-20 area.
And Mintos are just a midget program... part of the list it was impact of multiple age groups blah blah etc... but yeah either way mintos are the pinicle of midget AAA
I played for the Calgary buffalos. I believe that they should be a bit higher up since they constantly turn out high skilled players. Look at their alumni and some of the recent Whl drafts
Not surprising most of these teams are from the GTHL. The GTHL/MTHL has produced more NHL hockey players than any other youth league in the world. (The MTHL is what the GTHL used to be called. Yeah I'm old lol).
Technically brendan Gallagher is not an alumuni of the Delta Hockey Academy. Although his father runs the academy he always played minor hockey but attended the hockey academy when it was a school program and it was not competing because the CSSHL didnt exist. I know this being an academy alumuni and have played with Brendans brother through minor hockey and was part of the second birth year that played in the elite 15 division of the CSSHL before the academy had and the league had a bantam prep division.
No one would believe it but i know a guy who played at notre dame with lecavlier and richards, toronto jr red wings when they were know as wexford raiders, and toronto marlboros with spezza.
I've played against almost every team on the list at one time or another. Played with Calgary Buffs, Jr. Canadiens and Brantford 99ers throughout my time in AAA
I’m playing for Okanagan this coming season never even heard of them til they recruited me and plus I’m from the states. Gonna be on u16 prep so this’ll be fun.
Found it pretty strange that bc and Ontario dominated your list. I'm from bc and it's cool we're represented but I don't think our reps are as good as some people think they are.
DCJC17 BWC is bar none one of the best Rep associations in Canada and North America. The rest? Debatable. I played for NSWC back in the early to mid 2000's. Did we win games? Yes. Were we good? Yes. But, we were horrible when it came to international tournaments. I don't know if things have changed but we just couldn't compete with teams outside the province. OHA, POE and Hollyburn were in the same boat as us as well. The lower mainland and the Fraser valley have way too many minor hockey associations who do fuck all to be frank. VMHA is a joke. To be honest, when Killarney, Grandview and Hastings had there own associations it was a lot better. I never understood why the three associations came together to form VMHA. Coquitlam, North Van, Abbotsford, etc. All decent but nothing special.
Where are the Quebec teams? Check the Telus cup. A tournament of the winners of each provinces playoff winners play and Quebec teams win it almost every year and it is where most qmjhl players come from
I played the 05 BWC team in Tampa Bay for an MLK tournament my team was just an A team and we were playing AAA teams now looking at it we shouldn’t have been there but on BWC’s team there were players on that team that can easily make it to the NHL someday I don’t think some people realize how talented some hockey players really are even the ones drafted in the 7th round anybody that makes it in the draft are really talented
surprised there were no manitoban teams. Winnipeg Wild and Winnipeg Thrashers have traded the championship in that league for so long that they decided needed to be watered down. thrashers have had a few recent telus cup appearances and a championship recently. thrashers alumni include nolan patrick, mark stone. edit: forgot to mention the Rink Hockey Academy. it is very understandable considering it is a very young program, only being in its second year. they have already graduated players into the whl (including a 02) and have a few players projected to go in the first round of the whl draft next year, including the projected 1st overall.
wow quite a lot of weak organizations on the list and way too many from Ontario. The Calgary Buffaloes even though mentioned at the end should've been in the top 5.
Why didn't you put in the SSF Blizzard of quebec. They lost in final of the midget aaa telus cup in 2017 and their alumni is including patrice bergeron, Jonathan Marcheseault and others
I mean i understand the Ontario teams being the major part of the list, but no Quebec team really? Quebec AAA teams have been in the telus cup final more than any other province teams. How are the Lac St- Louis lions or Chateaugay grenadiers not there ?
Really friggin sucks that you forgot about the Province of Québec.. there is some outstanding hockey academy’s! You should check out the LHPS (a provincial scholar league)
The Toronto nationals played in a tournament in Gatineau Quebec not to long ago and finished like 8th so you should prob add some Quebec teams rather than just western hockey teams
I'm curious to see which video will get more views - Top 20 AAA Tier 1 USA or Canada?
What hockey fanatic won't watch both? SUPER NICE VIDEO, except the beginning when almost all of the cool moments are scores and not saves. Put a little goalie love in your heart.
Since you have the facts (much appreciated), is there any immigration loophole that permits American's from becoming Canadian's based purely on their love of hockey?
ya
Culturama AHAHA GO HOUNDS
Culturama go BWC
Gareth Ovans I believe it’s in Calgary.
Should have named the video; Top 20 AAA tier 1 teams in Ontario
kris aker hahaha so true i guess quebec isnt cool enough to be there
Zachary Boissinot Quebec shouldn’t even be part of Canada
Hahahahahahahahaha 😂
SloppeyJoe 6D9 no politics
Quebec shouldnt be part of canada but our hockey program is better boys sorry
Pretty surprised there aren’t more Quebec teams on the list, like the Lac st Louis Lions. They have produced nhl talent like Jonathan drouin, Anthony duclair, Mike Matheson and many more. They also win multiple tournaments on a regular basis.
Coconut Bliss i love u i play for them
Justin Filippone lucky u I wish I had a pretty known junior AAA team to play for but I’m from Alaska... only way to get known is to play down in the states or in Canada for tournaments
Coconut Bliss yoo whats up just tied against lac saint louis sud at guimond, im with laval patriots bantam AAA major
Coconut Bliss they should be this guys only put Toronto teams makes no sense
Pat Lanthier it does make sense
I wasn’t gonna say anything about name pronunciation until I heard Tyler “Sehgueen” lmao
GOOOOOOAAAAAALLLLLL Tyler seygween
yeah I mispronounced a few. oops. I try hard not to do that anymore. :)
13:16 tendy loses his helmet and keeps playing. Legend
TheOG llama21 they blew the play down, it happened at the very end
I’ve done it. Fucking terrifying
I'm surprised whitby Wildcats or oakville rangers aren't on here
Rascals Lacrosse someone’s been watching home ice.
Music was kinda bad
But as a Canadian. I approve this video
Haha. I have to go with free (non attribution) music - so I did my best! :)
12:04 Jack Hughes
So in other words GTHL teams
Com’on, nearly all of the clubs are from Ontario or BC except for ND Hounds. There are brilliant programmes in Quebec and Alberta (e.g. Red Deer Chiefs, Calgary Buffaloes)
NAX and Edge should be on a Modern List from Alberta. Quebec got shafted
Where is Northern Alberta Xtreme they crushed like all of these teams at John Reid tourney
fuck i was wondering rhat also like they had matt savoie and dylan guenther, they were such a crazy team, i haven’t seen them lose a game on youtube yet
@@noahschneider9522 umm ok that's not impressive
I played for Don Mills 4 years ago. The Marlboros were on a whole other level..
Chris What age group were you?
I was on the sens that you and we always got smashed by the Marlbros
Glad you included the csshl!
You said Kelowna wrong 😂
Thank you - I was looking for someone else to spot it.
Hard to rank some over others but still fun.
Agreed! It is so hard. It ends up coming down to multiple factors. SO many great Canadian teams!
And yet Notre Dame thumped your representative at the Telus Cup
When you have that many people it should be
I. Am good friends with someone who played for the Norte dame hounds, she then played at Cornell as an assistant captain and played with the pro women’s team the Markham thunder, and is now currently playing in the pwhpa
Mcdavid played for York simcoe as well
I wish you’d make an updated video for both Canada and USA AAA tier 1.
Back in ‘98 we went to the Air Canada Cup in Sudbury now the Telus Cup on the Atlantic Team from Saint John New Brunswick the SJ Flames. It was a great experience I will never forget. The only team we beat was Don Mills Flyers in the tournament.
yo saint john the vitos now right?
@@Swamprat123 yes now they are the Vito’s.
In Canada tier 1 and AAA hockey are different, I’ll explain for the Americans: tier 1 is house league. AA and AAA are considered: elite AA or elite AAA
This one kid on the 07 London Knights AAA team is basically there whole team
PickleMonkey 05 who rubric
Notre Dame should be higher than 15. Their bantam aaa team played in Regina’s midget aa league last year and went undefeated with an average score of 5-1
There’s a lot of Quebec team, love it
Great video again, always looking forward to these
Thank you! I got this one done in only a week - that's pretty fast for me....they take a long time. haha
How is NotreDame not higher...
Hounds Have Heart
mcdavid started on the york simcoe express too
What about the lsl lions ?
As a former AAA player from toronto... too many GTHL teams (only the mississauga reps and markham majors werent mentioned) Markham Waxers definitely need a mention.. as do whitby wildcats, and some teams from montreal or quebec
Wildcats for sure
Exactly what I was thinking
Well they didn't make it
I was just curious to see some competition for this year and this gave me everything I needed and more.
Great video of the best AAA clubs in Toronto.
I have a friend that is one of (if not the best) in his ohl draft class who currently plays for the Marlboros. What an insane team
No teams from quebec? What kind of shit is that?
i thought lac-st louis lions would be here
There's alot of great teams from Quebec. LSL is one of them. Magog's Cantoniers is another one
Lac st louis lions, college francais longeuil and college charles lemoyne should be there
David Leblanc collège français bonne blague
That what I also found strange all his picks are in Ontario and BC lol lol Canada has a lot more provinces. Alberta, Quebec and maritimes were excluded from top 20 lol lol
I played for York Simcoe Express AAA from Minor Peewee to Minor Bantam. 92/93 to 94/95 seasons.
People fear the Hounds in Western Canada.
I thought the Cole Harbour Wings from Halifax Nova Scotia should have made the list they have produced Nathan McKinnon and Sidney Crosby but not my list
rush 124 is this the same team that used to be called the Halifax Subways?
Nah the Halifax Subways were their own team. CHMHA is not in this bc yeah they produced Nate and sid but that's it, give it a few more years tho the Q is always overlooked for developers. CHMHA will have more future graduates.

Atlantic Canada???
At 3:46 number 22 Brendan Sellan is my buddy and he went to my school. He’s in the OHL now
Technically brendan Gallagher is not an alumuni of the Delta Hockey Academy.
Oh....I saw him listed as an Alumni on the site if I recall. Thanks for the info - how do you like the academy?
You should do a Top 20 Midget AAA Canadian teams!
Toronto Titans Alum, right after jumped to junior. On my fourth year of junior now. Hoping to jump to college!
Awesome - congrats JDO!!! Keep us informed where you head next!!!
NAX, and RHA have been trouncing BWC, OHA, and NSWC in the west.
“Almost every team” plays against three
I’m liking these videos, keep it up. I’m hoping to make an appearance one of these days :)
Hey I go to pursuit of excellence I didn't expect to see us up here
ottawa valley titans had me laughing
Dope & Derp. well there shit
I watched tons of video on them...I think they are pretty good! Where do you play? :)
Dope & Derp. my age they suck
Nah bruh titans are wicked
LMAO this guy is basing his analysis of the team being shit off of one age group from Novice to Midget
I’m playing for Okanagan this coming season never even heard of them til they recruited me and plus I’m from the states. Gonna be on u16 prep so this’ll be fun.
I have a friend that plays for the 07 AAA junior knights and he was in one of the pictures
Will Judd sweet. Make sure and show him. 😀
Do 20 best aaa jerseys in canada and 20 best in the usa
srachi 749 oooh. I like that idea!
Funny cuz the year this video was made, ND Hounds won the Telus Cup. Went undefeated whole playoff run
I was going to say not even a mention of Alberta but we did get an honorable mention at the end
Edge and NAX are two of the better CSSHL Programs now. They’d be on a newer list
BWC is awesome, only issue is it’s 8k minimum 😬 other then that, it’s one of the best team in British Columbia
Will you have one of these for the 2019-20 season? I shoot videos of 19-20 GTHL games. Some excellent teams out there.
You do know that BWC, NSWC, and Delta are not apart of AAA hockey. They are apart of the CSSHL
This is awesome
those off white red wings jerseys are so clean
I play for delta prep green and we are currently the best team in Canada for the 2019-2020 season
My friends brother is a defenceman for the Yale team and just got drafted to Medicine Hat tigers
Found it pretty strange that bc and Ontario dominated your list. I'm from bc and it's cool we're represented but I don't think our reps are as good as some people think they are.

the national championship count tells a different story, but interesting to learn about the gthl
I played with Robby Fabbri back in 09-10 "96"
Where are the Quebec teams? Check the Telus cup. A tournament of the winners of each provinces playoff winners play and Quebec teams win it almost every year and it is where most qmjhl players come from
Played 99 sens, This list is pretty correct except for the sens.... we was trash
What was the score
I just made AAA and I play for Myers automotive AAA are we good?
Marner also played for the Marlies, and Vaughan Kings. COuld have added Fantilli for the Red wings, who otherwise suck.
My friend played in the Reps team that won the silver stick (AAA)
I played for Pittsburgh Pens Elite and now play for Little Caesars 05
Mentioned my team and our year! Dope
Do best tier 2 clubs
grunt s no one gives a fuck about tier 2
Tier 2 is gay
Why tier 2 I'd rather worst teams in the world than teir 2
POE is on and off. Depends what age group
surprised there were no manitoban teams. Mississauga sens where ya at?
I feel like moncton flyers and eastern express should be on here.
Bryan bickell played on central Ontario wolves before going into junior A
Mat Barzal also played for the Burnaby Winter Club
Where's the Sault Ste. Marie Jr greyhounds? They've made players like Phil Esposito, Ron Francis, Rico fata Tony Esposito and Blake speers
11:43 kid with the puck #86 is Jack Hughes
wow quite a lot of weak organizations on the list and way too many from Ontario. The Calgary Buffaloes even though mentioned at the end should've been in the top 5.
Don mills 03 team is nasty they have a 04 who leads the team in points with exceptional status
I played bwc last year now playing for delta hockey academy
Aidan Samuels your a bitch
culturama when you find yourself on youtube lol YSE OMHA GOLD
You should do top 30 AA teams in the 07 age group
I’m surprised whitby or quinte or even Brampton wasn’t on here
Thanks alot for the marlbros comp i play AAA im am 02
Toronto JR Canadiens alumni here.
Burnaby Winter Club and North Shore are not good anymore. All good players go to academy’s
Seth Jack yah like the West Van Warriors
BWC’s bantam prep team won westerns last year though.
Bwc is a academy team now
And BCMML teams
BWC is still amazing, its an academy now too
Why didn't you put in the SSF Blizzard of quebec. They lost in final of the midget aaa telus cup in 2017 and their alumni is including patrice bergeron, Jonathan Marcheseault and others
Why do you only have 1k subs? You deserve like a million subs
One dog two bunnies four cats exactly. 😉
Man the way he said kelowna😂😂
I mean i understand the Ontario teams being the major part of the list, but no Quebec team really? Quebec AAA teams have been in the telus cup final more than any other province teams. How are the Lac St- Louis lions or Chateaugay grenadiers not there ?
Notre dame should be way higher on this list
I was in the video of the rebels getting scored on 😂
Really friggin sucks that you forgot about the Province of Québec.. there is some outstanding hockey academy’s! You should check out the LHPS (a provincial scholar league)
Please do an updated list
