I've lived in Slidell about 14 out of the last 20 years...we have a really decent location for traveling around the rest of the US+++++++ Greyhound...We have a Greyhound station...I love leaving here alot and love coming back
@@VaderTheWhite my absolutely newest girlfriend lives in Slidell within walking distance there's barely any reason to move from here ever...i live of fremaux she's north of me off gause...I can walk to her house in 10 minutes
We do have the Tammany Trace, which starts at Covington and ends here. It only allows walkers, bikes, and e scooters/bikes. Slidell is pretty car centered though and it's hard to get anywhere any other way.

I hear such terrible things about s LA but I'm all about the history the culture and southern living BUT I need a lot of sqr feet . I'm set on New Orleans... I'm looking at Venitan isle but the videos of flooding concerns me. I could use some help.

We've been in slidell for 7 years now. We love it.
I moved to Slidell in 2006 been here every sense I love this place
I lived in Slidell for 8 years. LOVED IT!
I moved to Slidell and lived in Covington for 2 years before. I say living in Slidell is better than living in Covington based on my experience

Worst part about Slidell is New Orleans East. That's where 90% of Slidell's crime comes from.

Anyone have experience moving to Slidell from a bigger metropolis and with teens?

No Target, no mall and no kfc… everything going to Covington La and it succckssss but I still find Slidell La a good place to live in my opinion

Are there any off road trails? Anything for trucks, side by sides or atvs?
