The only problem I have is the minimap being blocked. Which is obviously not your fault. And completely understandable for the streamer. Just wish stream sniping wasn't so rampant that we can't analyze these vods on that level. So frustrating.

What great content! Even if its not as specific as this guide was being a pro's playbook on a specific champion for a specific map, I would love to see more guides like your Lotus guide. I'm still very new to macro, and even just having a general idea of how to exploit a map to create advantages is a big help. Thanks Woohoojin.

out of curiosity as someone who started w valorant and recently started playing cs, what bad habits are you carrying over?
@@svenyam gunfight hygiene. They share similarities, but in csgo I typically sprayed even from further ranges because bullets arent rng after a certain point like in valorant. Not also mentioning every shot even standing still in valorant is rng it doesn’t hit exact every shot, and spray resetting is a lot faster in csgo. That’s the only real issues changing into each game because the gameplay is very different, and there’s a lot more utility in valorant. But the gunplay is different although looking so similar, which was a huge shift that held me back. Sorry for the long paragraph.
The visuals you make are super useful as a viper player! Sometimes it’s hard to remember lineups for all of the 7 maps I try to lock her on
I ranked up from gold 3 to plat 2 (10 games winstreak) after being gold 2/3 for about a month...i ve only really watched and focus on your videos. I can't really find out what i m doing different (other than the things i ll list but even though i ve been doing those for a week or 2 i hadnt ranked up until now) but i seem to be getting many kills without necessarily aiming well. Things that really helped out : 1) Insta rotate/flank on pistol rounds (it has worked every single time for weeks now) , 2) never play alone on eco advantage rounds , play off/with your teammates especially if you have numbers, 3) fast flank when they are shooting/when there s chaos they wont hear you (has worked about 75% of the time and i m pretty sure it s my fault when it doesnt), 4) watch a pro or 2 playing your agent in various maps and watch where he plays and why (i play omen). And of course 5) practice aim 30 min a day and warm up with a deathmatch or two. Thanks woohoojin i ll try to get even more out of your videos you really are the best coach i ve seen.

For me, I think the biggest difference is im not playing on autopilot and I am definitely more aware of everything im doing after watching woohoojin videos. After 3 games, i notice i go back to autopiloting.
@@pandathug6806 cuz you can't focus over 3 games. Your focus is good tho, I can't do 2 games and have my focus up completely. What I've been doing to help myself focus for 3 is just taking a break after each match. I do like 50 pushups and wait 5 mins and then hop on. Keeps me focused waaay more and aim doesn't feel off, doesn't reset

Sucks that I can't sub on Discord because I'm on the process of building a new house but one thing I've learned over the free yt pro and rank vod analysis videos is how to analyze pro vods more effectively and it has helped me have better decision making in ranked and have better pattern recognition that I seem to have trouble in fps games like CS and Val. These episode has been kind of slow for me considering outside factors I need to do but your content scratches that itch of competitive strategy that I can't seem to find in my swiftplay and unrated games
Thank you for the anaylsis. I think that last molly lineup works by lining up the clouds and the building somehow, I tried to stand such that the bottom edge of the cloud is just covered by the building in front of him - then I used the wall icon to aim.

46:09 it is winged and the molly lands outside of the map which is why it appears that it hit the ground. Also nats stops for a split second before firing but he starts moving just as he fires it which causes the molly to fall outside the map.

Hey whj, at 6:22, if you would put the second wall, coming from b a little bit more to the right, you could also wall off the box on the left on the way to a, do you think that would also make sense or do you think its bad since it gives a little more space for the enemy?
at 20:25 the wall left a little gap where enemy cypher did get 2K. I guess he misplaced it bcos of kj turret at the start barrier (?) i think probably better to throw the wall precisely to the corner point
For the molly at 46:09 i believe he runs up until he is in line with the statues in the wall in front of and to the right of him and then lines up the dot at the top of his molly throw icon to the corner of where the stairs up to heaven meet the wall
I have also watched his play yesterday and missed many important points that you highlighted here!

Wohoojin love the vids just wanted to asked what’s the coolness meter for, it kinda makes the actual gameplay hard to see, if like u could only put ur voice over and the screen of the gameplay on the yt vids it would be great, again this is just my opinion and you don’t have to do anything, idk I just thought I should point it out. Banana senapi, you even put the images in the description. I am on my controller arc and omen is my main. But I wanted to try out viper because I like her utility a lot (since they damage the enemy)
But I fail miserable everytime. I am low elo (gold3 peak lmao) and this might help me to gain some elo ? I think its good to learn and I will learn using the valo plants and the your analysis.

the wall on pistol cuts under heaven not on the upper region. I don't know why he does that but it's the same with every lotus game I've seen him on viper

I’m pretty sure the molly @45:24 is thrown when he’s at the left edge of the statue and his wall icon is on the bottom step. Not sure how he knows how far off the wall from the statue to be though. I’ll update this when I get the chance to test it in case I’m wrong
almost 100% sure it literally just lands outside the map. trajectory is straight and any slight changes causes it to land on the wall so i think hooj is just respecting the molly too much
@@flabbynostril you are correct, it does land outside the map. Pros are humans and people don't need to be placed on a pedestal. If one can't figure it out in 15 minutes then how do you think a pro did it in 1 second?
@@ImMigrant98086 it's not that a pro would figure it out in 1 sec it's that he (or his team) has spent countless hours finding useful spots, and practicing those spots, remember this game is a career and full time job for people like this.

I still don’t understand how his defensive wall works. I just don’t see how I’m supposed to use it.
I m currently confused what agent to main now I usually played chamber before Nerf but now I play fade but I m not so good at it I also used to main viper before chamber was in the game so I m pretty confused 😢😐😣
Chamber is still viable on most maps if you can aim REALLY well.
I’ve also seen him wall in water fall to block a main. Let’s the team fight a main as well as give space in mid b
After my 100h in customs with viper I can get any lineup after like 2 seconds of looking at it.

Im brand new. Like legit less than 3 months of play. I frequently am turbo confused by the very basics of space control using smokes and walls.
EX: This smoke is in x place. I have observed that with my eyes. I have no idea what that means for me and how im supposed to leverage the benefit of that wall or smoke. Conversely, i didn't know i was fucking up THAT bad by interacting with that wall or smoke in X way when its the other teams shit.
I dont understand the objective of a wall or smoke by looking at it further than "they cannot see me while i stand behind this"

3:34 That's a default wall I've been seeing this season in pro play. It gives slight more space to work with (not significant) but it covers the double box near A stairs that Jett/Chamber can op from. The downside is that it doesn't cover heaven but if you're running a double controller comp, you don't need to worry about it 🤗
Maybe figure out a jump throw lineup for heaven?
