Do you have a bullet mold for this gun? If so definitely try out some aluminum slugs I bet they would go so fast, and with a hollowpoint, the energy dump would be insane
What do you mean bye key-holing? Bye keyholing do you mean shooting bullets sideways cause that’s what it usually means that usually means you don’t have the right barrel twist? Aea guns have a shitty barrel twist so you might need slugs that are not as long if that is the problem.
Hammer bounce is pretty inescapable unless you have a $3000 air gun like an fx from what I understand even then the best way to get around that is a hammerless system
In the Netherlands there is a shop that stopped importing AEA due to massive complains. I think AEA is pushing out to many models and fail to implement lessons learned. I hope your wife is doing well my friend. Please send her our love and support from the other side of the pond.
In Poland we have shop import them, mostly buying challengers and sf semi auto, Guns are fine but its needs to keep in mind they need some fixes and rework out od the box, sf need different magazine and some work with semi spring, after all its fine.
They are the reason airguns are inovating if you ask me. The models they Bring might nog be on Point. But without them there wouldn't be a 600fpe mag fed airgun that's pretty accurate aswel. Nor a 1500fpe! Airgun. Same thing for the high powered semi automatic rifles.

I have the .51 cal. The way these guns work is that the valve responds with the balance in "pellet weight vs reg pressure". The higher the reg, the heavier the pellet has to be to stop valve dumping. If I run less than 310 grains in my .51 with my current reg setting of 220 bar,, it'll valve dump. I currently run 385-450 grain pellets, and my valve never dumps. Macabespeed, notice how you stop hearing it dump when you were at low pressures.... that's because you were at a low reg pressure that balanced with the low pellet weight.

Mac, this my boy Dr. J. He knows that gun inside and out. He has shot everything through that elite of his that is available on the market. He has been through Hell and back figuring out that gun. I would definitely trust what he has to say.

Another comment suggested playing with reg pressure. I think it’s a good suggestion. Dropping pressure may improve performance or not but at least you’ll find out & if you share that in a video it will help others & build our knowledge base. Good video Mac. If anyone casts and shoots .457 cal I found a mold from NOE that uses a pins to form a hollow base. The one mold can produce 290, 350, 405 & 500 grn pills. It’s a 4 cavity mold. I’ve tested the 290’s at 50 and they stacked on my first outing. They are long for weight at .875 for a 290 grn.

Try turning the reg down to 190,touchy regs so just a slight bit turn in will do👍,,these elites are very accurate 💪🏻

i have the challenger 50 Cal too, its a monster and its much stronger than a 9mm :) but here in Germany I can't shoot the full Power :( i also ordered the new AEA HP Max MK2 :) i love AEA

My 50 cal challenger likes 3600 psi fill, it will take more , but it agrees with 3600, but what your showing is regulated different beast it should settle in
I saw videos on an aea hp ss 25 cal and it had problems with hammer bounce, i have the hp ss also but does not have that problem,,aea makes an awesome gun but they do have problems but that gun your shooting,

Wel there is a vid of mister hollowpoint he says that you need it under or near close to 2000 psi on the regulator more like 1800 psi

i have a 35 challenger and shoot as light as 72 grain pellets without a issue
Hola muy buena tu prueba pero,de los 3 aea que tengo ninguno anda bien de hecho el Big bore 357 nunca me dió la potencia que declara por suerte lo vendí al mes .El Challenger pro .30 en la tercera carga de aire empezó a fugar por los sellos de la válvula reguladora la cual no regulaba más allá de 200 bar e incluso se venía abajo la presión del pulmón antes de que se igualara con el depósito tanque.Le puse una de esas nuevas con regulador externo y estoy probando.La carabina.357 standard la use 2 veces pues era imposible tirar de su gatillo lo toque y me quedo mal y nunca más conseguí el gatillo y el fiador la verdad en pcp no se los recomiendo a nadie . Muy buenas tus pruebas saludos desde Uruguay.

Your slugs are to light for the reg set get you some heavier slugs or lower the reg 👍I have the 357 & was having the same problem

Honestly don't hear what you at hearing on the audio & it all looks good to me. I would expect psi to drop rapidly on this gun, no? Seems pinpoint active throughout imo.
I don't like side levers. Too sideways. I don't like pistol grips on a bolt action or any other that requires letting go of the grip (put it on the other side). The M50 w/ the bolt on the other side is kindof my dream.

This is true but, with the price of that you can get a lot of ammo and not have to worry about the air pressure at a critical time and don't have time to pump it up just my thoughts on it, you have a blessed day. Thank you for your input.

AEA airguns are absolute crap! Power without consistency is useless. If you buy one, you will spend all your time fixing and 'tuning'. Save you cash for something else.
