one good thing that came from the suffering is that people (even the youths) now understand the power of farming and the amount of money they can get through farming. Go now and you will see that many of them are making great strides in farming. only that the economy is bad and there is no capital to help small farmers but i see these people becoming powerful farmers in the near future. sometimes suffering is needed to prosper. the struggle to get land back was never going to be simple and smooth sailing

My opinion as a Zimbabwean. I do not support any compensation to anyone claiming that they had land expropriated from them. Compensating anyone would put a judicial precedent damaging to not only Zimbabweans but all other African countries that still have the yoke of colonialism on them. Who ever thinks he should be compensated should go to his country of Origin and demand it from their country of origin. The government should not entertain any of those claims. We do not as Zimbabweans want that. If it is improvement of the economy its our baby as Zimbabweans. We went through the record inflation where our money was valueless, afforded to buy sugar that serves one tea pot, cooking oil that cooks one meal, etc. We did that and experienced that for the sake of holding on to our land. NOW YOU ARE RUNNING TO YOUR COLONISER AND SAY COME BACK AND PUT BACK THE YOKE OF COLONIALISM, TAKE MY LAND, ..........I SAY NO!
