I believe Messi gave him that Man of the Match award because he really did deserved it. and not necessarily to boost his morale. Mac Allister was outstanding every minute he played in the World Cup. I rarely seen a player link up with his teammates that well. He is THE big discovery for me. I really really liked what i've seen from him!
