For colour you can try bedigee Chilli 🌶 . This variety is not spicy and used only for color. In my opinion, you use both the variety of Chilli 🌶 at the time of frying masala instead of adding Chilli powder in the end.

Love all your recipes. My only question is - how much final yield in gms or litres. Also, the recipe says 10 gms of rice, but you said same amount of channa dal and rice in the recipe preparation. Recipes says 10 red chillies, when you look at the video, it clearly shows nearly 20 chillies. which is correct? The way mami puts the rice, she put two times. Please give measurements correctly, Otherwise, it is misleading.

Hi sir when I cook sambar When it is hot after cooking it will be in correct consistency. After sometime it will become too thick
When I add toor dal correctly it becomes thick when I less it it likes puli kolunbu what's the reason pls suggest me sir
