You should check out "Carnival Hunt". It's still in the making. TBA on a release but the trailers, couple videos and the Kickstarter video shows a lot of behind the scenes. Would be cool to see a reaction!

Making a game for pro play is how a game dies. There is no sponsors if there is no players. No sponsors, no pros. Making a game for the casual user is how DBD, league, DOTA, hell even Melee. They started with casual in mind and pro play forms because sponsors saw value in the playerbase.
100% of the time I hear they talking about pro play, it's going to die so fast like the horror tape game. I loved that game but not enough players so rip
