- I'm FINALLY comparing the Dyson airwrap to the Shark flexstyle! I've ben using my Flexstyle for over a year now and I had the opportunity to try the Airwrap. I used both the curl attachments as well as the round brush attachments. I compare the temperature of the dyson to the shark, the materials, ergonomic features, and the longevity of the hair styles. I JUST bought the Shark yesterday! Lol. Your video was very informative. I actually have the old original Dyson blow dryer from about 7 years ago. It was time for a new one and I had been debating whether to get the Dyson airwrap or the Shark flexstyle. I went with the flexstyle. Thanks for posting!

Love it! Such small details make the biggest difference
I love my shark flex style. You can adjust the temperature on the shark, and it also has a cool button . I always press my cool button after i airwrap each section. Same for roundbrush, let it cool for a couple second, it will help hold the curls longer.

I mainly want a round brush blowout. I use a round brush plus my conair, I can do a decent blowout but it’s never as nice and smooth as at the salon. I’m debating getting one of these; maybe the shark would be best for me. Or Dyson supersonic. So many options

You should try the new attachments shark came out with. There’s a smaller barrel and a smaller round brush 🙂
I bought the smaller barrel and I've been playing with it! I almost feel like it's more difficult to run through the hair now since there's more bristles and less area for my hair to glide. Definitely need to keep practicing with it!
I tried both. I wanted to love the shark but it’s heavier, noisier and extremely hot. I couldn’t see myself using every day. The dyson is way expensive but like you said on sale it is a good investment for me. I go less to the salon and my hair never been healthier

This is a great question!! I don't believe I wore anything or put it up. But I sleep on a satin pillowcase every night!
I splurged a little and got the Dyson set at sephora with rouge 20% off 😂 def needs a different set of skills to master it but imo it is better than spending $100-200 each for 4-5 diff tools. Plus my hair doesnt get that fried stiff feeling like when i used an iron
Ah you are so right, it’s so much nicer to have a tool that does it all! I love how gentle the Dyson seems to be even though it actually gives off a higher temp!

Shark released a much smaller round brush just like Dyson size
I bought it and I actually feel like it’s hard to comb through since there’s less area and more boar bristles to brush through my hair! I’m still messing with it but so far the bigger round brush is easier for me lol
The dyson is at Costco for $400? I think it doesn’t come with as many attachments.
Yes! Comes with 3 attachments I believe and no storage case. But still a great deal tbh

It definitely has a high frequency that I’ve noticed more after using the Dyson. Usually I wear my AirPods 😅

I used all my Ulta points and a gift card and got my Dyson for like $65 😅 it’s nice and all but I wish they had a big round brush like the Shark had and like the Revlon round brush. I’m hoping Dyson comes out with one too. I should’ve waited till the Shark came to Ulta tho 🥲
That's what I did for my Dyson hair dryer!! I'm so surprised they don't have multiple round brush sizes
