I have a high stress corporate job so between getting ready for work and getting my family situated for the day I don’t have time in the morning to do the full routine you have. I do my growth factor, retinaldehyde and other stuff for my night routine. In the morning I wash with gentle cleanser, add Paula’s Choice clinical niacinamide with vitamin C, moisturizer, neck cream and then I apply sunscreen to my face, neck and chest. I do use ColorScience concealer with SPF under my eyes every day 👍🏼

Ok, gotta comment! You are my favorite. I literally watch these skincare routine videos pretty much daily (until they’re memorized!). It’s hilarious because I feel like I practically know you at this point. I’ve ordered literally everything you recommend, for me, and also for my sister in Idaho (and a quite a few things for my daughter). I’m in NC right now, moving to Ellijay, GA this fall, and my daughter will be in Aesthetics school in Chattanooga this fall. After we move I’m coming up for a makeup session!

Love love love this! I’ve been using Brianna’s Vit C cream recently as well and really like it. I also loooove the Allies of Skin peptide moisturizer! I use it day and/or night, so good!! I’ve got to try that Chantecaille eye cream! You’ve been talking about it for years and I also want to try the Chantecaiile concealer (gel foundation I think) you use. My favorite, hydrating, plumping eye cream is IS clinical youth eye complex. I recently ran out, and I’m panicking, lol. Thanks so much for this! I live for your skincare videos Mandy!! 💕💕💕
I have a sample of the IS Clinical eye cream somewhere. I need to find it and give it a try. I honestly think I may have used it in the past, but it's been so long that I can't remember for sure. But I do love IS Clinical as a brand.

Ive been really enjoying the Allies of Skin growth factor serum and peptide moisturizer for awhile. I recently started the Calecim multi action cream and really loving that so far. I took advantage of the mothers day sale plus your code and ordered another and the professional serumnas well which i havent tried yet. My pkg is supposed to be here tmrw!! So excited! Good morning Mandy. My favorite videos to watch! I can attest to how much you love Allies of skin. I need to try that when i go thru my current products. Also interested in Briannas all in 1 vit c. I am a huge fan of Truth treatments c. How would you compare? I know there much more goodness in hers but does it feel as soothing like TT? Skin looking beautiful as always.
The texture is a lot different because the base isn't heavy esthers like the Truth is. I still find it soothing, and although I once would have though I never would have said this, I think I would pick C Boost over the Truth if I had to pick.

You are so welcome! I don't personally struggle with hyperpigmentation, but my skin is also changing, so I can never say never. As far as minimizing the look of pores (from what I have always heard you can't truly make them smaller) a good exfoliating acid never hurts.

I could not agree more with what you said about washing your face in the morning because I do think it depends on the person skin. I tried it for a week and I have very dry skin and I broke out so that did not work for me.😂😂
I did want to ask about the eye cream, have you ever had issue with milia? Do you know if your suggestion would cause that?

have you tried the new Paula's ChoiceVitamin C and Glutathione serum? OMG, it's delicious. It's so creamy and kind of gives a glow. My dry skin drinks it up which means I need 2.5 pumps to get it all around my face, which means I go through it fast because it's a small bottle, but I immediately repurchased it after trying it three days in a row. It's only the third PC product I've ever tried because I hate silicones.

So so glad you are loving Defenage! Sounds like you have a great routine, and I understand being nervous if you have never used retinal, but I promise it's the least offensive of all retinoic acid ingredients in terms of irritation. I would start with just a tiny bit as a patch test on your face for a couple of nights and see how you react.

I just started another bottle of the Truology after finishing my first. I honestly will probably stick with this one.
Mandy we are kindred spirits with skincare and sunscreen. I have about 10. The new BOJ ginseng serum sunscreen is gorgeous on. I haven't tried Calcium, since I've had skin cancer I don't use EGFs I have a watery peptide toner with some EGf but the amount is small. I think it's APLB on yesstyle. Also Tiam B5 has no fermented Medi peel peptide toner no fermented Cezanne is great too

I just love your skincare routines!! You turned me onto Allie’s and Iv been through 3 tubes of the peptide cream and one on the way. So sad their GF serum is out till august so I had to go another route( thanks for your recommendations). I think I’ll have to buy the Medic8 serum when I’m done with my Drmtlgy hydration booster 😊 I’m having a hard time finding a spf that wears well under makeup. I tried the Numbuzin one and it was good but broke me out. Any suggestions ( they usually make my make up oily and slip or dry me out) ? Thanks for the awesome video. Your skin is just amazing!!
Yay for Allies Peptide cream! It is really just the best. I have been loving the Eucerin Oil Control SPF 50 lately. Especially for the hotter weather. Despite being oil control, I don't find it is drying on me. The issue is that it is European. I get mine from Care to Beauty. As far as ones you can get in the states, the ISDIN spf 50 is one of my very faves, especially under makeup.

Hi Mandy! I also watched your pm routine and you mentioned your tretinoin is from Nurx. Is that a subscription you have to sign up to purchase like Curology and Agency?? I just don't go through mine that fast. I'm looking for a way to purchase on an as needed basis.
Hi there! It technically is but I like it way more than Curology in the sense that I can pause my shipments altogether and simply let them know when I want them to reship. With Curology I could only step it out a month or so. My tube of tret is lasting forever. I let them know that and they said not problem...put me on pause and told me to let them know when I needed my next one. So, in that sense it is a needed basis. Hope this helps!

I also have a large SPF collection. I can't stop buying them, lol. Not the worst thing... I wish we could get the UltraViolette version with the European screens but then again I hate that they put fragrance in all their formulations.
True...definitely could have worse vices than a large SPF collection. I haven't seen any added fragrance on the matte screen I talk about in this video. I don't notice any when I apply either.
I have recently started using retin a from a dermatology office and my normally dry skin is exceptionally dry. I bought the retin an and a sunscreen from them and use the retin a at night with euricin at night and the sunscreen during the day. I wash my face morning and night with Cerave gentle face wash. I wish I had a regular skin care routine for am and pm. I have NO idea what I am doing with my skin. I’m 70 so want to deal with the dry skin and wrinkles. I have never been a sun worshiper but they have a special device where you put your fave into it and it shows the damage to the skin in a screen. I was surprised with the amount of damage to my skin.
I noticed that you use a product that serves multi purposes. Is that something that you would recommend for someone beginning skin care? I don’t want to spend a whole lot of time doing a routine but I feel like I really need some moisture.
If hydration is really what you are looking for, I would definitely recommend getting some hydrating toners like I used in this video and layering them up as many times as it takes for your skin to feel sufficiently hydrated. That alone will make a world of difference, especially using tret. And the truology C-Boost is a great serum to use during the day that includes so many different things and is a one stop shop for antioxidants. Hope this helps!

The truology A2 retinal serum is great at night. The heavy hitter is .2% retinal, but it is loaded with other quality ingredients that could easily make it an all in one product for the nighttime.

I've brought my skincare down since my twenties but I'm riding a problem now is that all the things I can do to my face I can't always afford to do to my chest and I'm scared that'll happen later 😂
I get that it can get pricey to use that much more product, but even bringing the residual that is left on your hands from your face all the way down is better than nothing. And you can get some ordinary products to use on your chest only if you are able to do that. They are way more affordable and would work great for that purpose.
Every time I use the Allies of Skin Moisturizer it pills on me😢
Oh man! I have never had that happen...I know pilling usually is caused by a mixture of two products not mixing well while layering, but I understand not wanting to change anything else in your routine to get it to work.

Yes, that is why I mentioned I wait until I have a bulk order of various things to make me have to order less. I probably only order 1 time a year....maybe 2, so for me, it's worth it, but I know it's $$.
