Releasing the Sunday Check-In early so I can get ahead of the Mother's Day crowd and actually treat Mini and myself to a proper breakfast out. Later today, I will be posting on Facebook some interesting pics of Cinnamon running up on a Texas Brown Tarantula. It was unexpected to say the least given it was on a sidewalk and out of the neighboring forest where they prefer to live and hide. I just went back to Canada one week ago. I spent 5 months in France where I took care of my old parents. I'm an author and a sciptwriter and I was also there to write a book. I always take raw garlic when I'm not feeling well (and yes even on an empty stomach...oops) and it helps so much!!

For sore throats…cut up an onion (red, white, yellow…doesn’t matter), put into a jar with a lid, add approximately 1/4 Cup sugar (white, brown, raw…again, doesn’t matter which) allow to sit in the fridge for 3 to 5 hours, or overnight if possible, take a spoonful of the juice, and that sore throat will become a thing of the past.
