Hi. I have installed the game from PS2 Classic Vault, and it runs quite well. Could you share what settings do you use? Sometimes i have some shakiness / vertical lines, perhaps changing the in-game or emulation screen settings could solve that? And big thanks for mentioning PS2 Classic Vault, didn't even know this project existed.
I believe my settings were the default from the PS2 Classic Vault I didn't tweak anything other than PS3 smoothing option maybe try to switch to 480p mode from GT4 option menu and set PS3 smoothing to off ?
There is quite a bit of slow down (which doesn’t happen on a real PS2 or a backwards compatible PS3) I am sorry to say. I’ve tried this with a HEN Slim machine and even my CFW Slim and some tracks are borderline unplayable!
mind if i ask how the license test gameplay is holding up? i'm trying to point out the problem with pcsx2's clamping specifically, if it has the same problem.
How do you leave the full screen instead of the small one? I don't have full screen, but I only have one option. I want a solution. I have a PlayStation 3 HEN Plazzzzzzzzzz
How does it run that good? When I play this game on my ps3, it lags sometimes and the screen shakes at some courses. Also arcade mode works badly. I'd want to know how you fixed that
i believe GT4 requires tons of special config and patches. to save time and headache, i just download prebuilt GT4 that comes with config and patches from ps2 classic vault

Im so happy my ps2 still works just so i can play fifa 07 and Gt4

what tracks are unplayable btw ?
i've had slowdown when I set the smoothing to ON,
if i set it to OFF, it runs pretty good
@@Nitorich there are some (from memory I think Tokyo is one) which runs extremely slow.

license works fine to me
except the ghost may look fully opaque, idk if that how it really was in GT4

It runs surprinsingly well, considering that is emulating the game in software.
Why gt4 doesn’t run like this on my 4.90 evilnat?
4.91 added better PS2 support on Evilnat gonna give the game a try on PS3 later tngt might just be easier to run on PCSX2

you need to download and install ps2 classic vault PKG and then just download the prebuild from there

Ps3 slim cant play ps2 games natively, you need to jailbreak it
yea you need to jailbreak it first,
