I realized that the secret to making a million is saving for a better investment.. I always tell myself you don’t need that new Aston Martin or that vacation in Hawaii just yet and that mindset helps me make more money investing.
I'm 63 and, when I was growing up, we were taught talking about money was rude. We never learned how to budget or invest, and our parents assured us Social Security and our pension would be there for us when we retired. My parents paid $28K for their 2400SF home in 1963 while I paid $150K for mine (1700SF) in 1994 - more than 5X! And I remember a time when interest rates were 14%.

Thanks to you Rachel. Following your recommendation, I started researching into Abby Joseph Cohen Services. Thankfully it was a little over a year ago now, I started an lnvestment with Abby's Services and that allowed me to be on much MUCH more stable ground in the face of global financial upheaval. So thank you, your channel, and your employees. For what it's worth, it made a difference for me and my little family.

Also, my gen alpha kids the other day were dancing to Cotton Eye Joe, and wouldn’t believe me that it isn’t a new song 🤦🏻♀️ I had to sing it all to prove it (because as an elder millennial I apparently only know “old” songs 🙄😅)
26:29 “every dollar is low key goated when budgeting is the vibe” Is one of the most gen z type phrases I’ve ever heard coming from someone who just graduated from college 😅😅

I have NO idea why they say Gen-Z wears crew socks like what no I could never. It was one thing for lacrosse in high school but I stay wearing no show socks

Wow. I'm a bit perplexed seeing her been mentioned here also Didn’t know she has been good to so many people too this is wonderful, I'm in my fifth trade with her and it has been super.

I can agree with these guys on a lot of things but they didn’t like cargo pants. Cargo pants are not that bad. Another commenter said you have more pockets to hold stuff and I agree with that. It’s just pants with more pockets. Now the pants trends that I thought were not good is baggy style or those real wide leg pants.
