Thank you Fr Michael for an inspiring homily as always. God bless. I try to let these psalms be my moral compass:
Psalm 119: [105]Your word is a lamp to guide me and a light for my path.
    Psalms 139:23-24
[23]Examine me, O God, and know my mind; test me, and discover my thoughts.
[24]Find out if there is any evil in me and guide me in the everlasting way.

Repent Forgive correct and hold accountable, and I'm talking about how I dress myself.
Most talk about another person with action needing took, and fewer talk about forgiving and repenting, than neglect correction and anything directed after to complete their trail. Since sometimes they're told to leave their gift at the alter and make amends with a brother in Christ. However, educational backgrounds and monetary wealth seems to interfere in various ways.

    o Ephesians 6:11-13 NKJV
11 Put on the whole Armour of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. 12 For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places. 13 Therefore take up the whole Armour of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.
    o Ephesians 6:11-13 NIV
11 Put on the full Armour of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes. 12 For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. 13 Therefore put on the full Armour of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand.
    ---------------------------
    o Matthew 10:33
33 But whoever denies Me before men, him I will also deny before My Father who is in heaven. NKJV
33 But whosoever shall deny Me before men, him will I also deny before My Father which is in heaven. (KJV).
33 But whoever disowns me before others, I will disown before my Father in heaven. (NIV).
33 But those who reject me publicly, I will reject before my Father in heaven. (GNT).
33 But everyone who denies me here on earth, I will also deny before my Father in heaven. (NLT)
    --------------------------
    o 1 Corinthians 6:9-11
9 Do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived. Neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor homosexuals, nor sodomites, 10 nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners will inherit the kingdom of God. 11 And such were some of you. But you were washed, but you were sanctified, but you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus and by the Spirit of our God. (NKJV)
    o 1 Corinthians 6:9-11 GNT
9 Surely you know that the wicked will not possess God's Kingdom. Do not fool yourselves; people who are immoral or who worship idols or are adulterers or homosexual perverts 10 or who steal or are greedy or are drunkards or who slander others or are thieves-none of these will possess God's Kingdom. 11 Some of you were like that. But you have been purified from sin; you have been dedicated to God; you have been put right with God by the Lord Jesus Christ and by the Spirit of our God. (GNT)
    o 1 Corinthians 6:9-11 NIV
9 Or do you not know that wrongdoers will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: Neither the sexually immoral nor idolaters nor adulterers nor men who have sex with men 10 nor thieves nor the greedy nor drunkards nor slanderers nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God. 11 And that is what some of you were. But you were washed, you were sanctified, you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the Spirit of our God. (NIV)
    o Ecclesiastes 7:2
o 2 Better to go to the house of mourning Than to go to the house of feasting, For that is the end of all men; And the living will take it to heart. (NKJV)
o 2 It is better to go to a house of mourning than to go to a house of feasting, for death is the destiny of everyone; the living should take this to heart. (NIV)
o 2 Better to spend your time at funerals than at parties. After all, everyone dies- so the living should take this to heart. (NLT)
o 2 It is better to go to a home where there is mourning than to one where there is a party, because the living should always remind themselves that death is waiting for us all. (Good News Translation)
    o James 3:6
o 3 The tongue also is a fire, a world of evil among the parts of the body. It corrupts the whole body, sets the whole course of one’s life on fire, and is itself set on fire by hell. (NIV)
o 3 And among all the parts of the body, the tongue is a flame of fire. It is a whole world of wickedness, corrupting your entire body. It can set your whole life on fire, for it is set on fire by hell itself. (NLT)
o 3 And the tongue is a fire, a world of iniquity (wickedness). The tongue is so set among our members that it defiles the whole body and sets on fire the course of nature; and it is set on fire by hell. (NKJV)
o 3 And the tongue is like a fire. It is a world of wrong, occupying its place in our bodies and spreading evil through our whole being. It sets on fire the entire course of our existence with the fire that comes to it from hell itself. (GNT)

My moral compass indicates that the multi-trillion dollar corporation known as the Catholic Church should recall the recently published price list for the Indulgences for the 2022 fiscal year. People shouldn't have to pay cash for their sins. They think they have to commit as many as possible in order to beef up the coffers !

Martin Luther born Nov 10, 1483, made claims against the church he gave his life to the Catholic Church, that donations (indulgences) discouraged Christians from true repentance and sorrow for sin. He argued that WORKS; giving to the poor, feeding the hungry, caring for the sick and other WORKS of mercy is a must do for salvation. When he starts his Protestant movement, he proclaims the opposite, that by faith alone is a person saved, NOT WORKS. Then he accepts donations (indulgences) from people wishing salvation by Faith alone. Since the 1500’s this scam has been going on.
