No doubt they will, but it will take ages before we see them. LNER are currently waiting for more 800's and those will likely not come until 2023 as they sayd the will keep ten 91 sets until december 2023 wich must mean that theyr current fleet of Azumas is still too small to handle all LNER services.

Nope, they extended the life for the 91's until december 2023. Building new trains and getting them to the customer takes ages these days because they have to get to the UK by ship. (As far as I know)
Not sure if they have 800's or 801's but I know they will get more of them in the future.

My northern train was delayed by 20 mins and it was freezing and when I got on the 313 to Crewe it was like a pacer but better

My local station is mainly operated by GWR but we get a limited service of SWR. When a SWR train turns up I say in my head "Not these idiots again." Luckily I mainly get GWR trains as its mostly operated by GWR.

At this point I ain’t surprised that bombardier is dying because they have been having a ton of issues delivering their products here in Canada and in other countries.

Personal opinion of Avanti, they're not the absolute greatest but it's still early days. On Northern rail, I personally don't see the OLR working effectively because many of their issues are Netowrk Rail related so I dunno if anything's actually going to change. On Transport for Wales, I see too many people way too quick to complain about them whereas I've had first-hand experience of their services and very rarely have any issues with them at all (then again I think most of their issues are down in South Wales, but I could wager a guess they wouldn't get fined nearly as much if all their issues were up north). Also the Transport for Wales company is publicly owned, it's just the trains that are run by KeolisAmey because the Welsh Government don't actually have the powers to run the trains themselves.
Very good video nonetheless :) very much enjoyed this one again and look forward to the next one. Just want to ask, what's the name of the tune which starts at roughly 2:00, it's a very nice tune and I'd love to find it to listen to the whole thing :P

We need British Rail returned more than ever now that this ridiculous circus of colour and failure is coming home to roost.
I never understood the point of replacing different railway companies every 10 years. I've always said this, keep the private company to keep running the railway for as long as it's making profit and making improvements to the system.
I'm actually agreeing that nationalisation for most of the rail company's may be a good idea, except cross and Avanti, and virgin when they finally whoop spaghetti west coast back to Italy

Sorry but I have to say this: Avanti aren't getting more IETs. If this was the case, they'd be getting the 80x fleet from GWR, as IET is only their brand. They'll be getting AT300s (which is the name of the whole 80x fleet, not IET)
