During the weekend of 22, 23 and 24 July 2011 (BELGIUM, ANTWERP, BOOM), more than 180,000 visitors attended one of the most beautiful and talked about festivals in Europe. The 7th edition of Tomorrowland was one that would never be forgotten. An amazing festival, a magic location, wonderful decor, more than 250 artists and in particular the best public in the world! You can relive all of this now with the Tomorrowland after movie 2011. This after movie is the perfect ingredient for getting warmed up for Tomorrowland 2012 which takes place on 27, 28 and 29 july 2012.

Veo esto y pienso, es un lugar mágico, un lugar especial al que muy pocos pueden ir, algo que nunca se volverá a ver; al ver el de 2014 por ejemplo pienso, es un sitio donde los niños ricos van por moda, porque tomorrowland se hizo muy famoso en estos años y solo van para poder presumir de ello, no es lo mismo, no digo que la música de 2014 no sea buena, tiene DJs muy buenos, pero no tiene el toque "mágico" de 2011 o 2012, algo que se perdió, actualmente hay una superpoblación y es como que todo el mundo va a emborracharse, es solo mi opinión, nunca he estado aunque me gustaría, pero como ya digo, prefiero ir 1000 veces antes a algo como lo que me muestra este vídeo, con espectáculos, con su toque mágico..., antes que a lo actual, que son los DJs actuales simplemente tocando la música y ya esta, diría que van hasta colocados porque se les va mucho la olla, gracias por leer este comentario y ojala Tomorrowland volviera a esto...

DnSpecific Tomorrowland sigue teniendo su toque mágico , siempre lo tendrá , no e ido pero conozco a personas que si , es otro mundo me dicen ellos . Ya se que ahora se a vuelto una moda pero hay personas que de verdad van por la música , no todo esta plagado de niños ricos o possers . This aftermovie changed my entire perception of what a festival can be, the soundtrack, the dj's at the time, the stages, the energy from the people from so many different countries, I was 15 years old by then and I remember watching it over and over, I think my dream of going to tomorrowland is getting closer, today in 2019 I'm watching this with goosebumps all over my body and I promise, I will go to Tomorrowland

2011-2012 was right when EDM was peaking at the height of its popularity. For those of us who had listened to trance and techno since the 90s, it felt like "our" music had finally been recognized. But now it's 2016, I haven't heard a good beat in months, and all of the new EDM just feels like reprocessed mainstream garbage.
+Patriotis 2011-2012 was very electroish and anthemy, house was really the late 80s and early 90s. Also +GTOAviator, most trance and techno fans weren't that happy, because this definitely wasn't there style and the peak of trance was pretty much the late 90s and 00s. The Tomorrowland era kinda ended the whole trance era.
+Hugo Hakvoort when did trance die? What was its peak era? Wasn't it 1999-2005 ? I think so.

Been dreaming of this since 2011 and i finally went this year! Was the greatest experience of my entire life and the aftermovie still doesn't do it full justice!! I strongly recommend anyone with a dream of this place to stop thinking about it and find a way to get out there because i promise you the whole experience will truly blow your mind!!!

I watched all the aftermovies of Tomorrowland and seriously Tomroowland 2011 had the best crowd without a doubt. The people looked just so excited just for dancing and jumping instead of using smartphones all the time. 2012 was epic as well. 2013 was above average and 2014 and 15 was really poor. I hope something better happens in 2016.

You're so right mate. Till 2013 Tomorrowland was truly amazing event. The people, the music and everything around the festival was just natural and real. As you said everyone was jumping instead of using smartphones and everyone was truly enjoying it from the heart. You could feel energy, excitement and love everywhere around you. When you look at Tomorrowland 2013, 2014 ,2015 ( and not just Tomorrowland but other festivals worldwide too) you can see how completely unnatural it is. Music is completely mess and nonsense, people are brainwashed following just what's popular because they wanna be IN. Everything popular became more important then what's right. Money ruined it all. It happens everytime when marketing becomes more important then the festival itself. I was at Tomorrowland in 2011,2012 and 2014 and the last one was just disappointment. It wasn't the Tomorrowland i knew. I'm glad i could be part of very last 2 real editions of Tomorrowland and i will never forget. Tomorrowland died for me but will always stay in my heart. Forever.

In 2011 the whole trip cost us about $400 including V.I.P. tickets. In 2012 $700 including regular tickets and in 2014 $800-900 including regular tickets. Right now only ONE regular ticket cost about $400.
What provisions do you get on the regular tickets? Does the flight costs and living there comes under 400$? Thanks

Provisions? Don't know what provisions you get i'm afraid. I stopped watching Tomorrowland 2 years back. Check Tomorrowland official website for the info. You can't make a trip to Tomorrowland, Belgium for 400$ anymore, even if you live in Europe. Speaking as a European, if you wanna go to Tomorrowland these days it will cost you about 800$ ( including everything - flight tickets, regular festival tickets, food/drinks ). If you travel from oversea it will cost you over 2000$.

I went to this i was 42 at the time (old I know) been to global creamfields ultra miami and the old school raves but this is the best I've ever been to. If you get the chance to go do it doesn't matter about your age.

I still remember when this aftermovie first came out it was the first time I'd ever heard about Tomorrowland. A friend of mine told me I had to watch and when I did it blew my mind! I'd never seen an event so incredible and I straight away said to her we're going next year! Then on the day the tickets for 2012 went on sale I took the day off work and bought the tickets at the very moment they became available without any hesitation. Her and I flew from New Zealand and it was the most magical place. This is a place where dreams become reality.
