After trying it you don't understand how addictive it is. I had a similar situation but to a much lesser degree, worked my way up to 1k from around $200 and got greedy and lost it all lol. The PTSD from losing was so life altering I haven't gambled since and have learnt my lesson lmao But I can easily understand how a man who has that much money could be consumed by something like gambling if they'd never experienced it before.
